Important

I severely abused alcohol last night.

While trying to wrestle a freshly built cabinet out of my shop, I managed to bump two of my tap handles. In my panic to get to them, I managed to wedge the cabinet in the stairwell, so I had to run around through the garage, family room and laundry room. Lost several pints of really good Czech Pilsner and Kolsch, and at some point it was pouring into the cabinet too :banghead:

Back in NYC working for a few days...the good news is that I actually found a decently priced campground about 30 min away where I'm going to be staying...its actually in city limits. There are tent and rc sites, fire rings, grills and shower/bathroom facilities...plus there are rangers on duty to keep the bums out...

In other news, I think I finished off the motor in the parts wj last night. I had need using the motor within busted rod to get it in an out of the garage...last night I got hung up on something and mashed the gas pedal and it sounded like someone threw a bag of marbles in the motor and it died...when I tried to restart it there was a big pop and smoke started rolling out...now it won't start. I had to get creative to get it back in the garage.

that sucks!

Drove home from work. Had a weird front axle vibe, but to be honest, things like that in the jeep are pretty normal. It got really bad about 5 miles down the road, so I pulled over and found this:

2 studs snapped off and 3 loose lugnuts. No idea how that happened. Maybe all these miles I've put on it the last 3 weeks worked them loose.

At least the other 3 got me home. Now that front axle project just got moved to the top of the list.

At least you caught it before something bad happened. I remember jumbos wheel coming off and rolling a couple hundred feed down the side of a mountain at harlan.

I have been removed fr my house. My wife threw a pork loin on the oven and her amd the baby went to the pet store for some crickets while I sat on the couch wiring up my radio harness. When I was done I started feeling really weird. High almost(not that I know that feeling;)) being a typical man, I just keep on doing shir. It was when I was clearing off the table about to set it that I got really light headed and could smell gas. Right them my dog threw up and I opened the oven set at 400* and it was room temp. I then kicked the animals to the backyard and called the gas company.

They told me do not go back in
So the wife, baby, and I are chillin in the front yard until they show up.

Fun

light a match. the gas smell should go away...

My 1st plan was turn off the oven and open some windows. My wife said dont take chances, call the gas company. They showed up and said it was the oven.

Washer was shooting arch flashes last week.

Getting nervous what the thrid thing will be. Seems like something wants this house burned down.

SAM'been on fire before, prefer not to do it again'SET

Sam, you are one lucky Dude! Glad you and family are OK.

Don't they put odor in the NG where you are?

-Ron

They do. i did not smell it right away. but once i stepped into the kitchen i knew something was up. opened the oven and a wave of stank came pouring out.

when the washer went out last week i said a cheap used washer from this local store will work.

i always told my wife that if the oven ever breaks then i want a nice new one to match the microwave and fridge which all have been replaced.

problem is... the fact that i dont have 500 bucks to drop on an oven.

fix is... i have a nice grill and can cook anything right on that.

rather wait and get the oven i want than buy a cheap one right now.

GOOD MORNING SAM!

mac 'was waiting to see if you blew up over night' gyvr
