One of the treadwrights I just bought for the Chevy won't balance at all, two different shops have tried. I have submitted a warranty claim, they are supposed to send me a new tire. The other 3 balanced fine and they all run smooth at any speed other than 45-50. Of course they send me a 10% coupon 2 weeks after I order 4 tires
~$25 a tire for a 265/75/16 from TX to IN. It isn't any cheaper shipping to a business either, I tried that. Ended up being $540 for a set of 4 shipped to me.
Just shattered the last ratchet I had...Fml. what a nightmare. Got a cab to home depot ...another 30 bucks down the toilet
The entire axle is off the jeep and the arms are as well...even completely disconnected the arm won't line up...either theI axe mounts ate tweaked or the arm is bent or both. This arm won't work anymore...anyone know anyone at clayton? They are about 30 miles from here I believe and at this point I cant put short arms back on since my lca mounts are cut off. I should be at home holding my baby right now...I can't even describe how frustrated I am right now and I'm almost $1000 deep in this ordeal and looking at the possibility of having to get a hotel and rent a car to get somewhere.

I know it's hard to listen to the good things in your situation, but thank God that your wife/baby weren't with you and you weren't going faster. As bad of a situation as this is, it could have been worse. Again, I don't want to down play your ordeal, but I'm happy your unhurt.
I understand your frustration. Call IRO and talk to Josh, see what they can do for you. If nothing else, they can send you a new arm that you can sell.
Your ordeal has made me a bit scared. Not that I ever thought it was a great idea to have so much importance on such a small bolt. I've been running ideas through my mind of how I can fix my arm prior to being in your position. My best thought is to make the upper Y adjustable, much like an adjustable control arm, but use a bushing like hobag was talking about for a larger bolt.

Yep. Just weld some tabs on your current lower and run a adjustable upper with bushing.
