Five guys burgers and fries = food coma and lots of left over Cajun fries.

lol this! i will not go there on my lunch breaks anymore. i'm useless the rest of the day.

On a vehicle that didn't get wheeled at Redbird, I'd run AT's. Sure, K5matt runs his AT's there and does fine but I like having more traction on muddy trails. Just a personal preference. Plus I like the look of aggressive tires on a jeep without flares.

This is why I like my Duratracs. Not Bawwwgggeeerrr aggressive, but better than an AT. Matt just buries the throttle to get his bald ATs to work ;)

I liked my Kevlars, but I didn't want to chew up a $200 tire on the street. BFG KM1s are still my all-time favorite tire, in a 33x10.50.

You will love them! They're worth every penny, I never would have believed they work as well as they do
i would have thought that you of all people would have believed in them...

ever seen someone throw big rig wheel on a balancing machine? i was under the impression that they were using them on trucks like yours for years. is that not true?

My only comment is that article is old! The MTs are the old style not the KM2.

mac 'love my KM2's' gyvr
i saw that as well. the KM2 is a completely different beast.

Looked up kevlars for the new ride today, 35s are $60 more than 33s.....will be a tough decision :D
really? at discount tire 35s were $20 cheaper than 33s. yes, you read that correct. and KM2s were a dollar cheaper than the kevlars in the 35" flavor. the demand for 33s is probably higher.

When I was hauling cars, we changed our own tires and didn't use anything.

I have never seen any type of balancing material in the tires on the french fry tires.

I've never seen a balance ring either.

That's all I know.

We run equal in our steer tires and I run it on all corners of the 19.5's on the Dodge.

ive been running beads and various other media in large tires since about 2006 and have been very happy. where brian's balls win is the lack of degradation compared to other substitute media. the airsoft bb's are great, but after a lot of street miles they turn to powder. the stuff brian has stays together better and lasts longer, anything over 33" that sees wheeling time should be balanced with media, weights get ripped off and more than once ive spun wheels inside of tires, rendering the weights that were left useless

Equal? like the shit i put in my coffee? if so im not gonna use that crap anymore.

Rew needs 35's......i havd a great time with his axles and 35's. It was still a good enough balance for daily driving amd there was enough power and porper use of 4LO to be great on the trails.

Cheese "should have kept the axles now I think about it" Man
