Was having TPS issues with the 5.9. Replaced it and still had issues. Replaced the IAC too. Still had issues and a new check engine light. Pulled code, bad TPS. Got another TPS and the thing appears to be running good now.

I just got offered a pair of $400+ 4th row 40 yard line tickets for the Packer game for $100 each. I think I might try to brave the -40° windchill just to say I did it..

I thought about grabbing tickets but it is going to be too damn cold, haha. Plus it is a better view in the living room!

I put the new ones on the 5.9, big difference...old ones kind of work, so I put them on whitey...the ones on it were completely useless.

Hello everyone. I am new here, and more specifically new to forums.
I joined up here to talk to others about jeeps. I have a 97xj 2wd that I bought for a daily driver years ago. Now that I don't have any other 4x4's left in the driveway... This little xj is gonna go through some transforming.
I'm not new to 4by's or even Jeeps. I have retired from my full service mechanic trade after 17 years for a lateral line of work.
I'm hoping that here I can meet some new folk, talk trade and maybe even learn technique and etiquette of forum use.
Wishing you all well,
Michael

anyone else have an annoying friend on facebook who posts vague statuses about how they're a failure and how they are an awful marriage partner??? seriously...coming to facebook for a pity party gets 0 sympathy from me, and i'm a very sympathetic person. i've even tried to help the dude out a few times. he is in a similar situation as me. he works freelance, is married and now has a little girl at home. i've tried to help him find work, but quite honestly he is not the type of person who will just swallow his pride, put his head down and work when the going gets a little tough. he expects higher level jobs to magically fall into his lap...i would guess he's probably 8-10 years younger than me, so maybe he will learn. honestly though, if you feel like a failure as a husband and as a person, facebook isn't going to fix it.

ugh...RANT off...

also...i will always be mad at him for not selling me his xj when the transfer case exploded. instead of putting a new case in it from a jy, he took out a loan on a newer car. smh

Glad I installed the block heater in the jeep a month or 2 ago. It is warm on start-up :)

What block heater did you end up getting? One that replaces a core plug or one that goes in the lower radiator hose?
