Actually this is like the red headed step child car that is a pain to work on. Its a Chrysler Sebring but has the motor from Mitsubishi.

The HVAC in whitey is going to put me in the mental hospital...
The blower motor worked with all four settings but the blower was only blowing through the defrost.
I ran a new vac line inside to the blower controls. In the process of trying to trace the original vac line I had the entire dash torn apart.
I broke the original hvac control because i took it apart at the wrong plug and lost some parts.
I went and got another one from the junk yard.
I put that one in. It worked without having the rest of the dash in (or so I recall).
I put the dash back together then it was either blowing on high all the time (with the key off) or not working at all.
I thought that I might have screwed up the hvac that I got at the junk yard.
Today I got another one and nothing is working at all.
If I ground the wires that go to the fan, the blower works in each speed with it ground individually...but it works all the time even with the key off and the selector switch off.
I think there must me a wire that tells the hvac system to turn on and off and somehow its controlled through the ignition and the selector where all the vac lines plug in. The button that you push to turn the a/c on isn't lighting up either, which is one reason why I think that the whole control isn't working.

And I'm cheap.
i just ordered 3 idler pulleys from rockauto...1 for the dd, 1 for the comanche, and 1 to have when the cheap china ones fail

Put the redneck block heater on the expedition and turned it around to face south. That is as much is getting done outside today.
