95- style longblock/timing cover in particular + 96+ belt routing and tensioner = bust that thing off and forget about it!

Ask any of the ultra 4 guys who are running ifs why and they will tell you it's so they can be more competitive in the high speed sections NOT the rocks. If all they were doing was rock crawling they wouldn't even try.
