holy shit, I was gone for one day and it looks as all holy political bashing hell has broke loose around here......remember gang, it is just a Jeep club that no one is forced to be in. Everyone has opinions, some stronger than others, but we are not doctors, we are not saving lives, the majority of us are bacon and cheese loving drunks that like boobies. There will be ups and downs with all organizations, from planning to execution of duties, you cant keep everyone happy all the time.
To those who were intimidated to run for a position, it is not like you are running for congress....there is a learning curve, there are plenty of past documents/posts that help clear things up and help with what was done in the past by prior BOD's. The positions are only as difficult as you allow them to be. If you can not take criticism, then you will need to learn too becasue there is always room for improvement on any level of anything in life, nothing or no one is perfect (except for Macs straw snow angle, that was perfectly executed
). I personally hate to see an election where anyone is running uncontested. Competition is a good thing, life is full of winners and losers, so be it. I have not seen this much discord in my nearly 8 years as a member of the MWC, and honestly I am a bit disappointed. I know I am not nearly as active in the chapter as I once was, but my love for this chapter and its brotherhood (and sisters) has me questioning if alot of the actions I have seen as of late are going to be the continued actions of this chapters members. Lets all have a big cyber hug and get back to the things that matter....like pictures of bacon clad semi naked beauties.
