Important

155. It's in a 96, but that doesn't mean it's a 96.

I don't need troubleshooting advice, I was just curious what other people are getting on a less modified jeep.

Okee, I'll go take a look and see what mine is...

What symptoms are you trying to diagnose?

Edit: nvm I thought you were having issues

I hooked up my kiwi wifi this morning to the jeep to see what the pcm is seeing for coolant temp. My gauge is about 10 degrees positive, which makes me feel better about the overheating I've been having.

One of the gauges on my phone is the intake temp. I just thought it was weird that it was 155 degrees. I thought maybe that it was contributing to a higher cylinder head temperature.

It idles at 205, at 198 with the aux fan on and at 195 with the heat on. I think it needs more radiator, but I don't have time to mess with it. I'm not impressed with the CSF I bought.

Right now, I'm idling with the Jeep up to temp and mine reads 116 on the scan gauge.

Edit: It ended up going up to around 135.

My '99 was around 120 degrees...

On another note, I had ordered the Miller 252 last week, but I needed to add a tank of gas to the bill so they were supposed to send me a new 'quote' (even though I had already ordered it) to include the gas. Lo'n behold, The price of the welder jumped from $1500.00 to almost $1900.00!!! Called up the Welding supply store and talked with the manager and found out they had the wrong price in their system at the store and they found out yesterday. I told them that's okay when you're a business trying to buy equipment, you can make that money back; but I'm in education, I have a budget, that's a huge chunk out of my remaining monies... Store manager apologized and that's it, so now I have to re-build my budget for the year and figure out where I can cut that $400 difference...

Buy a used one, what are you doing that a 180 wouldn't handle?

We're in the process of starting a restoration/fabrication class as the 'capstone' to our Department. We'll be working on anything from dirt bikes to combines so we wanted a welder that could handle up to 1/2" steel or 3/8" alum. Trying to buy used as a school is difficult as our PO process is rather tedious. Plus there weren't and used units in stock in the range we were looking for...

I should say buying used from someone other than a business, i.e. craigslist, is difficult... None of the local used welder supplies had what we wanted...

Guess i have been away for too long. Did you end up finding a trailer dan for moab? You towing it with the Tahoe?

I have my trailer tires on the borrowed trailer. Plus my two spares, one good take off, and two of the guys tires that I'm borrowing the trailer from.

Plus two of my tires are brand new.

I've been trying to tell Dan to buy new tires for his trailer for a while now.

mac 'packing today and loading tomorrow' gyvr

You not taking the big trailer out there Mac? Sometimes i regret selling our car hauler. Could have used it multiple times within the past year.

Looking closer at my new tires, they put on 225's, not 205's like I had.

I'm concerned about fitment within my fenders and all my spares are 205's.

I don't have time to **** with this.
