Damn!!!

I Need a buddy like that!

I need a buddy like that from MidwayUSA.

Or Amazon.

Sarah's Roque is much cleaner then my XJ now, spent 1.5 hours washing, waxing, tire foaming, cleaning glass, and cleaning up the interior. The wax was not showing like it should so I am going back tomorrow when I feed the cats to wax it again and use good wax cloths (terry cloth towels) instead of what I had. This is a surprise for when she gets home from a family trip tomorrow evening.

That is an insane deal.

I don't like them because your departure angle suffers...
Meh, just air the tire down, It'll get out of the way. Really though, I haven't had much issue on the trails. I do hit the tire playing in the quarry though.

I hit my bumper on climbs all the time. I play on different trails than you do bud.

Rear tire carrier bumper, or not?

Where do you ride?

If you're riding in a place like Attica where tools, parts and fluids are a 5 minute trip in someone else's rig, I'd leave it off. I haven't taken the spare with me in the last couple of years, which bit me in the ass in Uwharrie.

If you're going more than 60 minutes from where you left the spare, you have to start thinking about round trip times and when you might get a flat. Running back to your truck at dusk and changing a tire on the trail at night to get back sucks.

There's shitty rear bumpers with carriers that drag on everything and there's ones that don't. That is probably affected by how much you want to spend. I'm putting a rear carrier on my heep just because of Moab. I can't skydive down the cliff of Moab Rim into town and get my tire.
