Important

Dan are you wanting a bumper for armor purposes, or just to hold up a tire? I'm guessing for armor, but if you just want to get the tire outside, I have always been a fan of the Detours Tailbone.

yep. I want it all. lol

I took the receiver hitch off to increase the departure angle, so I need a hitch point, and I need rear tow points, and I need a place for a spare tire, and I want it to look good and match my front bumper.

fore 'just talked myself into this bumper' wheeler

Wellsville left it's mark on it a few weeks ago.

I like the way you wheel. you remind me of myself. beat the shit out of it till you make it or break it. :D

The one thing you guys have noted is the fact that I am getting older, I don't enjoy wheeling my old jeep the way I used to. I want more creature features, I want to enjoy wheeling in the cold, and in the heat. Winterfest has and will always be the highlight of my year, and maybe this year I can enjoy the wheeling more.

If i could find a decent used tire carrier bumper i will get rid of my roof rack. It does catch a lot of wind up there and hurts fuel mileage. There are just a little to far out of my price range for a new one.

With the way your jeep is going dan i think a nice tire carrier bumper on the back would be the way to go. Would kind of finish it off just right for what you are gonna use the jeep for.

The picture on the front page (for a few more days anyways) shows that 1. it goes places not on a tow dolly and 2. I have good reasons to drag it around on one occasionally :gee:

(I wish I still had something to pull that stupid dolly with, actually. Scrapped the van when the transmission blew up.)

cheeseman...i demand you do this with the parts left over from your build

one of my favorite drag racers...i've never seen it in person, but it makes me laugh everytime i see it in a video

ha, that is funny. I have scrapped about 80% of my parts trucks etc to get $$ for the continued build....my body shop bill has totally blown my budget, so I am having to keep the motor around 400hp instead of the 550 I was originally wanting and I am scrapping a lot of junk around the farms to get more cash...body shops last estimate was the body work, sheet metal parts and paint were going to be close to $8000......sucks bc my original budget was 10-12K.

Cheese "need a few more mailboxes" Man

Does anybody know roughly how much weight a comanche can hold? We have got our little comanche bed trailer and our getting stone today but don't know how much weight a comanche is rated for.
