Important

Buy the time I go get a strip of metal and nuts then fire up the welder Ill prob have 20 wrapped up in it. But I have no clue what they actually cost anyways. And I can't wait until WF for someone else to install it for me.

I have always had the metal laying around. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA

66 per hub through RA or 107 plus tax at auto zone. I need two. So I don't think shipping will be $80 or even the $40 I'd save on one bearing.

Buy one at autozone, that way when one goes bad you get a free replacement with the lifetime warranty.

I did consider that too.

It's only a 3 year warranty for timken at autozone here though. How did you get a life time? Ill jump on a life time timken!

Yeah even rwk prices will or did go up. It was a crossed the board price increase that went into effect June 1. I think even through rwk the zip will be higher than an arb.

Finally something works in my favor. It usually is the opposite, I buy after the price increase

i wonder how soon...they still have them advertised at $650

I know when I talked to rwk they said it would be a price through the end of May.

Where can I get nut strips to instal a hitch on my zj?

Have you crawled under it and looked?

It seems like when I put the hitch on my ZJ it either had threaded holes for the hitch built right into the frame or threaded studs. It's been years so I can't remember for sure. I do know that I didn't need nut plates and it was 100000000 times easier to put a hitch on it than on an XJ.

Wish I had seen this earlier, I was just under a ZJ pulling a 242 and driveshafts, I could have looked. I know mine came with a factory hitch, and had weldnuts in the frame. I would bet yours has the weldnuts, but they will need cleaned out with a tap.

The easy way to pull a t'case:

The problem with using a tap is you're going to remove some metal, you would be better off spraying with pb or the sort and using a small round wire brush, then follow with a clean bolt.

If it's the right thread size, it won't remove any metal that wasn't supposed to be gone anyways - I've run a tap through a rusty hole and come out with nothing but rust, sand, and tapping oil on it when it came back out. I don't really like running bolts into rusty holes to try and clean em out... busted one off doing that, it sucked.

How much is the shipping though? I have found Rock auto only saves me a few bucks everytime I've looked into them, plus I have to wait.

cost me like $140 total.
