Just got done taking apart the family Daisy 499B and putting it back together again. Probably the first time thats ever happened since my dad bought it when I was in cub scouts. Nate and I toted that little bb gun all around the yard when we were kids and tomorrow I'm going to start my 7 yr old's first marksmanship lesson in the backyard.

Super stoked to see him squeeze the trigger just like I did with my dad

Awesome ! The first day was great fun when i did that with my daughter.

My daughter has mine from when i was a kid and when she gets older she will have my old mans too. (couldn't part with his yet)

The Smile on her face when she hit her first can was priceless and the same moment i knew i had just lost my childhood air rifle.

She has to come for me for bb's and supervision but she LOVES that she has it in her room ..

She is a bit older now i wonder if she is ready for some archery !

Well I'm accepting the Job. As good as Woodbury was and as well as they treated me, I can't turn down slightly more pay, lower cost of living position. the shop is great and has a lot of perks I didn't realize, namely the engine boring machine, flow table, and engine dyno. We may even buy a house within the next year seeing as there's over 100 for sale in the area, and many more being built. I just couldn't turn this down knowing I'd regret it the minute I said no.

I have my first BB guns stock apart right now. My goal was to sand it and stain it. I sanded it so far and I started this a few months ago. I got some BB's to shoot after I get it finished.

The Daisy 99 series is amazing in that like the Original VW Beetle, the model has hardly changed over the nearly 3/4 Century of production. Just more plastic.
