Went to Cabela's in Louisville yesterday, got five boxes of .223 rounds for $7 a box.

So Brad.... what happened? Did you join the need to tighten lugnuts more often crowd? or Did you break the wheel studs?

:roflmao: I think he was sold a defective product! :D

That's awesome
Is it awesome because it's not the axle that was in it when you sold it?

Brass or steel casings? Either way, it's a good price for steel with today's ammo crisis. Amazing price for brass. 20rds/box, right?

Nah just a great pic.

I got 5,56 at cabellas yesterday for $10/ box. They set ammo out about once an hour.

Steel.

Today at church, I pulled into the parking lot to see this.

91 XJ, originally a 2wd from Texas. Guy put a 97+ front end on it, swapped in 4wd parts. I don't know why he originally cut the roof off, but the roof is a soft top. The metal roof cagish thing is supported by the A pillars up front. The guy wants to try out Redbird, told him to sign up for the board and maybe go to the trail clean up. Front bumper he just built last week.

I'm about to throw my pressure washer in the fire pit. Anyone have any experience with small B&S engines?

I've cleaned the carb twice, cleaned the magneto contacts, checked the spark plug, put fresh gas in it. It ran for about 10 minutes with the choke full on, but wouldn't run without the choke. Now it won't start in any choke position and when it stumbles like it wants to, it bangs hard and jerks around.

I was pretty sure I had a clogged jet, but I've cleaned everything and blown air through all the orifices. I'm getting a new one tomorrow if I don't fix it today. It's been a 2 year hassle.

Whenever I've had to run a small engine with the choke on because it would fall on its face if I didn't, it was a bad carb...

I'm not a small engine expert but from dinking around with the few I own it sure sounds like a clogged jet.

Yea, usually a restriction somewhere.

That was my first thought and why I've had the carb apart twice. The main jet is the plug that holds the fuel bowl on, like most small engines. There's no restriction there.

I've been messing with this thing for 3 years. I think I'm going to go to the store tomorrow and buy a pressure washer with a honda engine in it. My honda's run all day and every briggs I've had has been trouble after a couple of years.

Nothing spectacular, just need to tighten my lugnuts more often! At first I thought I broke a shaft but thought about the 44 and bearing retainers and then realized fortunately it was just the tire that came off. Wheel studs are still ok and it was fine the rest of the day. Believe it or not I actually use a torque wrench every time (100 ft lbs) but now on the jeep I'm just going to crack them down. Oh and that right side wheel cylinder is leaking *again*! I replaced it when I put the axle in before WF.

Also ended up with a cut and leaking sidewall so now I get to buy a new km2... Hell of a day but tried some stuff I never did before and it was a lot of fun!

When you replaced the wheel cylinder the first time, was it the seals leaking? It's the issue 99% of the time so I'd imagine so. Check to see if it looks like it's just premature wear or if the one of the shoes has a burr on the contact tab.

Every small engine tool I own is now a Honda. There just simply isn't anything else in my eyes. The best though is my 4 stroke Honda weed eater. That thing is a tank and I don't have to mix gas. Love that thing.

There's a good reason Hondas are more expensive. We're using a Honda pressure washer at work that sat for 2 years. Threw a good pump on it, checked the oil and it starts everyday with one pull. During the summer it runs for about 4 hours every day. If my boat washer can't kill it it can't be killed

My riding mower is a troy bilt with a BS in it. It's gummed up again and won't start after sitting for the winter.

Pulled my push mower out with the honda in it and it fired up in one pull.

I think I'm just going to get a new one. Lowes and tractor supply are right next to each other. I need to do the concrete, the house and the jeep before I start welding rockers and stiffeners.
