I never wear a helmet in that thing and I just happened to grab one before we all went out b/c I was thinking that w/o the windshield it would be hard to see with snow flying everyhere and rooster tails from the other guys. Glad I had it on b/c I hit it hard on the roll cage.

Im sure the saying "im getting to old for this" was tossed around.

replaced the starter in the jeep yesterday, good timing because later i killed the honda. acting like a d**k i was trying to get the wife to race me at a light. couple rev ups and it sputtered to a stop and wouldn't start back up. so needles to say she won the race. :D I haven't looked into it but if it cost more than a couple bucks to geter going than it will be leaving me. had a good couple month run out it.

ha, that it was! We were about 2 miles from the house, so close enough to get a ride back to grab a truck and trailer. I am glad I did not have a passenger, Case about went out with us....

Ha, that she would have. He would have loved every minute of it though if he was along, he is fearless...which is good and bad at times. He clothes lined a kid at the kindergarten bastketball tournment this weekend...guess someone forgot to tell him that WWF moves are frowned upon on the basketball court. Cant wait for football season to get here, he will likely dominate his age group seeing how he is twice the size as the kids his age! :D

Insurance bit is really starting to get under my skin... Regardless of what happens, I will be filing for a loss on taxes next year...

I just ordered a new barrel for my long range rifle. Hopefully my 2014 elk hunt is going to be awesome.

Filed my taxes, got enough to pay some bills, go on my mission trip, take a short vacation on the gulf in Sept. Now to save up for the wedding stuff, church alone is $600. Got to find a place for the reception. Then the other stuff after that (photographer, dj to name a few).

I am going with the 338edge, it is a 300RUM necked up to a .338. It will have a finished barrel lengh of 30"+ muzzel brake and hopegully be under 17 lbs.

Good Luck!

We are using an Ipad as a DJ, cake by her aunt, reception hall/hotel block at steep discount (buddy is having his same place 1 month later), fake flowers (I'm allergic) and our photographer is a member of my local jeep club...

Still paying about $5-6k

Wow. Ours was $500 max. Outdoors at a city park, rented the shelterhouse for the reception, had a pitch-in dinner. Cake made by relatives, flowers donated by the maid of honor, pics by father-in-law.

Good thing she has kept the low-maintenance thing up, or I'd be even more broke.

Live from the lakebed checking in!

I'm never getting married, again.

Divorce cost more than the wedding.

The cost to have a piece of paper "allowing" you to have sex and live together is bs.

Our biggest downfall is the food... Hotel has a reception center and a restaurant in it and we're having the chef of the restaurant make the food... Apple-bourbon Pork chops with a raspberry glaze (my idea, his creation) and a seasoned chicken.

WTH????? That is a some crazy stuff... Plus they expect you to drop some coin on the Rev. and organist also???

W'damn glad he did the deed at the courthouse'_howey

$600 is the pastor also (400 church, 200 pastor).

Good Luck!

I am going to inquire about a local hotel. As for a DJ, a friend I went to high school with does it. Have another friend who is a photographer (won't be free, but she does really good work) for the actual wedding. Another photographer friend is doing the engagement photos for free.
