I enjoy mine, it works great. The engine sound is way more badass when you mat it too! :D

No offense but I just had to take one of those off a jeep (to pull a fuel rail) and it was a royal piece of shit. That clamp where the air filter is will come off as the engine torques....my buddy has a cut up bud light can over the rubber joint and the rubber elbow to the tb ripped ( it's way thin) replaced it with a big diesel boost elbow

I hope i don't feel this way about it in the end.

After it being on about a month i am happy with it (so far)
It helped that the internet chatter had me thinking it would be Crazy loud.
imo it doesnt bother me and mine is a d.d. I actually like the sound when you jump on the skinny pedal.
I feel alot safer when i come up to a water crossing (i try and avoid water and mud most of the time anyway)

I did notice that the center clamp needed to be alot tighter than i expected to hold well , I havent had it come off though.

I agree the rubber boot to the T.B. is a bit thin but hopefully if i ever need to remove it knowing that will keep me from tearing it.

Make sure you check hood clearances , even though I fit mine as low as it would fit it sat a touch high. Mainly because of how far the weld bead stuck out .
Had I of noticed i would have likely trimmed it to be a touch shorter ,somehow it took it about a week to show up as a small nipple dent on my hood .
I ground down that weld and now have no more clearance issues.

i will admit is does sound different when you mat it....My buddys 4.7 had new proper injectors for it though and it was clearing out while i was driving it :D

i think i'll take a swing at making my own when the baby jeep is running

What wrench or socket do I need for the oil drain plug on the 4.0?

Sounds about right, I didn't remember exactly, but knew I had to use a tool my dad had because I didn't have on the correct size. Oil change this week, a few minor issues in a couple weeks to fix and it is ready for WF.

Snow wheeling was a success, until I flipped the Ranger. I had a preconceived notion that this level of fun may happen so I pulled off the quick detack roof and windshield before we went out. Good thing I had the seatbelt on bc a 35 mph powerslide to immediate traction makes for a nice roll and a half! No real damage other then blew the tires off the bead on the passenger side, but I am a sore mofo today!

Cheese "got home and fixed before momma got home!" Man
