A future inlaw offered me a 2011 sportster iron for about half of what its worth. He said he got a killer deal on it when he picked up his new ultra and his daughter never touched it. He is a little bigger then me and said it got him around fine, so I might be a fat guy on a little bike this summer... Then I will probably tear it down and do a 1200 conversion on it.

Buy the harley kit. Comes with the best heads and all the parts you need. A place like surdyke will sell it to you for 20 percent off online.
You can do a 1200 conversion on a Saturday.

I rode both 883 and a 1200. I liked them, but I am not really a big Harley fan as much as I am a Victory fan.
