getting sick of people bitching about the snow here...its iowa. it snowed less than 4" and yes its blowing, but the roads aren't that bad. not even close to the last storm. why do we all the sudden blow every snow storm out of proportion. my wifes employees are all calling and saying they can't make it in because its so bad out...blah. grow up people

My wife's boss will pull this crap tomorrow leaving my wife to work a double shift. This from the lady that said she never calls off for weather. They have been together 6 weeks.. she has called off twice.

The only good thing about snow is that my rear end/tires dont sound like theyre going to kill themselves on tight turns. And 4wd parkinglot drifts...

A few weeks ago when we had 6" of snow and the wind blew for a few hours, it was a "BLIZZARD!!11!". It snows every year here; it shouldn't be a crisis each time it happens. The last few winters have been pretty mild, so it's even more annoying when everyone panics.

Show is fake, cops would be all over the people in that show if they actually did anything illegal. Though it has happened before. Jimmy Smith from Axe Men (now passed away) in the first season he was on, was charged with fraud after he was on the show making money and still getting disability payments from the government (reason why they moved from Oregon to Florida for logging).

There are a few exceptions. I really liked Flying Wild Alaska but that family had enough of Discovery's bs and ran from the cameras. I can't blame them.

Good thing they occasionally put a show on like Africa. Otherwise I'd give up any hope.
