Just heard this song, i am laughing outside buy crying inside over the lyrics

Leaving for KOH on Thursday morning!

Holy crap I have a ton of stuff to get done...

mac 'where did the time go' gyvr

Hard core wheeling = auto
That wussy stuff you midwesters do= stick. :D

When I do the body swap on here in the next year or so I'm thinking 5 speed. All my cars are five speeds. I don't really "need" an auto for crawling any more and it would be nice to be able to roll start when my battery dies.

Has anyone ever stuck a TJ 6 speed in an XJ?

The NSG370? It's supposedly an awesome box, problem is, AFAIK it was only used in 05+ TJs and the CPS sensor is a completely different style in a different spot on the bellhousing.

Wild ass guess is that using an 05+ TJ 4.0 flywheel and the TJ CPS with a wiring harness splice MIGHT work, it could just be that the tone ring / notches on the flywheel are clocked to make up for the different location (it's over at around 9-10 oclock looking from the front instead of 2-3 oclock, right by the exhaust... probably a good thing) but if the computer firmware changed to make up for the difference in position instead, you're in for a world of hurt trying to swap one. Unless you know someone who can mill a mounting boss and opening into the bellhousing for a regular XJ positioned CPS.

I suppose you could also either splice the harness (if it's a 5-8v hall effect CPS like everything else) and have a custom flywheel done up with the proper notch pattern to compensate, or use the Hesco front-mount CPS kit for a few hundred bucks...

it is on the pass side and can be accessed through the fenderwell...thats 2 seconds to change AND it only costs 16 FREAKING DOLLARS! my buddy bought 2 just to have one

im sure you could use an xj flywheel and just cut a mount in the bell for it

stop making things hard ken....it all goes on the same motor :D

Just made $25 today, I took out the trash for my Grandma's neighbor. I said she didn't need to pay me, but after my last part time job I learned to never argue with older people over money. I went to Autozone and got new batteries for my keyless entry so it works again.

So i currently have the stomach flu, the one where you throw up and cant eat anything...

i have already had the chest and head flu twice THIS MONTH both times with a fever of 103+

don't know if i am currently rocking a fever, find out when i get home. i am nervous because when i went to the doctor the 1st time they gave me meds, the 2nd time they gave me stronger meds, and said if you get sick again we will do blood work to see why your immune system is failing.

up until this year i have probably only had flu like symptoms 3 times in the last 15 years.

SAM'scared there is something wrong with me'SET

yeah that's easy, except getting the airgap from the cps sensor snout to the flywheel edge right when cutting the mount into the bellhousing :spin1:

too close = you now have 90% of a CPS, and it aint the important 90% either!
too far away = unreliable signal
