I would if mine were barkers. They really work. My dog was chasing my moms chickens. We put one on him that has a remote. It only took two zaps. He never did it again.

We use the citronella ones and if they are not on them, a spray bottle of water. Rubi barks right through the citronella sprays, Lucy scares herself every time she barks and gets sprayed. Its hilarious.

we partied with a shock collar one night...ouch

i learned my lesson...so the dog should learn also...

I got brave and cut the main coax to the main tv we watch...need to put a splitter in to get signal to the baby's room cause it wasn't tied in to the directv line...

all back together and working, just had to buy a $20 stripper and crimper combo...

My dog is a stout 130lb lab Wiener mix. Takes a lot for him to feel pain. He yelped like you stuck his tail in a meat grinder.

Sad to say I found it kind of funny. I wouldn't do it just to make him cry though. THAT would be cruel.

In-laws had a bloodhound. I put an in-ground electric fence in for them. I was training their dog with the flags and he tried to walk out beyond the flags. He walked up to the line, sat down and scratched his neck.Not even a wimper. I thought something was wrong. I grabbed the collar put it in my hand and walked to the line and it made me scream like a b..... :dunce:

We ended up ordering the higher powered collar. A few months later he ran through it to tree a bear.

They learn quick, and yes they hurt like a mutha fer. But our dogs would sit outside and bark all day long now they are quiet.

We also have an underground fence, we had to stick the big shocker on one of the dogs, she literaly took a dump on the line with the small collar shocking her, neck was flexing like crazy (the big collar takes a 9v).

Mine did. I solved the problem by working 3rd shift.

They can come in when they want. They liked barking at anything that wolked near the yard, it was constant. Now its quiet.

My g/f snores like a wild boar hog. I wear foam earplugs to bed. Sometimes I just get so hammered I can just pass out & it won't keep me up.
