I did security on a few of the campuses locally and for off campus parties here quite a few times .

There was a particular sorority that I worked for a few times that were real fun.

the truck runs fine. there is no motor or trans issue. a stumble would have been caught by the two computers that have checked the motor...its getting all the diesel it needs.

that and they were changed about 7k miles ago...i do them every 10k.

i did notice on the way home that if i used the trailer brakes only to stop the truck and trailer it would stop without bucking and throwing me around...

my brakes don't feel warped...there's no pulsation in the pedal...

going to check the ubolts and inspect the driveshaft tomorrow.

no it works great with the trailer brakes as the only thing stopping the truck, as soon as you hit the truck brakes it gets ugly...

its still ugly if you turn the trailer brakes off and just use the truck brakes. its something that is unhappy in the suspension of the truck...I'm thinking either loose ubolts or it needs a ladder bar maybe...

when i hit the truck brakes it starts to bounce.

and bounces so bad that you have to let off the brakes to let the truck roll out of it.

...unless you hit the trailer brakes...

I put new shocks on it, but used rancho 5500s...I think I should've put the factory gas charged type shocks on it maybe too...

Mac it has been a little over a year since you bought a truck, might be time for a new one....maybe you should trade it for an f450?

To my uneducated mind, it sounds like the trailer is trying to push the truck. My money is on poor connections in the brake electrical system.

When my trailer connector was dirty the trailer brakes would lock on the trailer, but just, and only on a higher then normal setting.
