I feel like a fan-boy if I drink my usual Jameson on St. Patty's because every fool drinks it tonight.

Box spacer ordered, durango box located. Now a steering setup to pick, I have to replace everything down from the pitman arm to the knuckles. So should I go ZJ stuff or use an aftermarket kit. Suggestions? OTK would be awesome too...
 
went wheeling today, cracked a turn signal on a tree, not too shabby considering the god awful mud we wheeled in.

Home from spending a day working with Samaritans Purse in the Pekin Area. I thought I was prepared for what I would see. First thing we seen was the destroyed saw mill, structural i beams twisted like paperclips. I fully expected single wides and wood framed homes to be destroyed, the home that was on the land where we were helping clean up was a single story brick built home. The person that lived there had her mother and father, neighbors in the basement when the tornado hit and were almost sucked out of the basement. There was a two place fifth wheel trailer on the property. Ramp on the back (well, the one that was left) was twisted 90°. The front beams that is the frame was bent down. Trailer was tossed 100' or so. There was a Nissan pick up truck that was tossed 450'. A 1.5 ton heavy duty truck that was flipped over. I didn't expect to see this type of damage. Will be uploading pictures tomorrow.
 
I have a 50 inch dlp samsung that was almost given to me. I was told it needed an expensive part. Turns out it needed a color wheel. Got one for $87 bucks online. Replaced it tonight. Its like a free TV.

Gotta love it when that happens. I spent most of highschool learning to troubleshoot crt projection tvs because I dragged one out of the trash and it worked... usually... I think we dumped about 150 bucks in parts into it over a few years before it finally burnt up in a bad way. That experience was worth more to me than some of the things I was tested on.

Free and almost free stuff rocks! Especially when it teaches you something.

My favorite Foremost Liquor had Guinness for $14/case a few weeks back. Glad I only bought one though. It's just OK.

Their other recent specials included Leinies regular, Amber, or Nut Brown for $10/case, Goose Mild Winter for $13/case, and Shiner Hefewiessen for $10/case. Why drink cheap beer when I can drink good beer for cheap?
I do love my PBR, though :D

That's one of the nice things about DLP, they can usually be fixed cheaply. Our saleslady was trying to sell us the extended warranty for our new 73" Mitsu, for about 1/3 of the TV price, claiming that new bulbs were over $250. Went over to the computer department, found them on Amazon for under $70

The original deal was two 1.75s of crown for the tv, so I paid about $100, but it was in booze lol. I couldn't believe how relatively easy it was. Its way cheaper than a new 50 inch tv...more $$ for Jeeps and trailers.

I also bought another bulb for a back up for $35 bucks.

I'm watching the NASCAR race and the picture is great...and the tv is quiet.

I don't know what's wrong with you guys!! Guinness is amazing! Getting drunk on the stuff is even better than a normal beer. It's got a really nice body relaxation kinda drunk feeling. You can still get stupid drunk, but you typically get too un-wound and just want to go to sleep.

You shouldn't feel like a fan-boy for drinking what you would normally drink. You should just point out to the others how much of a fan-boy they are.


Those that drink Guinness, Smithwick's, Harp Lager and Jameson one time a year disappoint me.

And those of you that ate my chili at Winterfest...it had Guinness in it.

I almost always have a bottle of Jameson in the cabinet and buy Guinness more than once a year.

You shouldn't feel like a fan-boy for drinking what you would normally drink. You should just point out to the others how much of a fan-boy they are.

That chilli was amazing.



Spent the weekend working on the house. Pulled the old broken oven out. cleaned behind it. Got the new one in and have to wire a different receptical. Got a new front door in with a lock and deadbolt. Im beat. Drinking a Boston Lager as of now.
 
well im not a beer drinker per say, i drink liquor every weekend, either vodka or jameson depending on what i feel like that day.the only reason i even bought the sixer is because the wife was making these Irish car bomb cup cakes.
