I just noticed I have a 1/2 day of vacation left. guess I will only be working half day tomorrow.

couple pics of my durango towing.
this is my brothers xj. it wouldn't start, so we rented a uhaul and towed it up to the shop. the same night i towed my monte carlo to a friends house to get the trans fixed.
soon the durango will be 2in higher w/35s
seems to sag a bit may have to look into that to.
this durango had stock 3:92s and 31in tires, now 5in lift and 33s, and like i said thats going up. for this to be a decent tow rig would you do 4:10s or 4:56s? i would think 4:56s right?

For a decent tow rig sell the Durango and buy a truck. They are marginal at best towing a car trailer stock.
It's going to suck big time towing anything with 5-6" lift and 35s.

Changed the valve cover gasket on the Jeep today. Everything looked good and there wasn't any crud in the valve cover. Cold hands suck for changing valve cover gaskets!!

You were saying you didn't have the money for something... why are you going up in lift and tire size on the tow rig and considering regearing it at all? Put smaller tires on it and call it good, it'll tow better that way.

I haven't been able to go Red yet, why, because I have yet to get paid for the Big 10 Championship game. I finally got sick of waiting and called someone. Apparently my paper work I filled out at the stadium didn't make it to the department that sends out the checks. Of course the person in charge of the paper work (don't know if it is the same one that was at the game) seems to be gone all this week. Until the paperwork makes it to the right person, I won't get paid for working the game. Never had this problem the 7-8 Colts games I worked for CBS.
