Looks like the "Mall of America" Dome collapsed this morning.

Stuff is heavy and still a bit wet. These is 3" of water in the gutter under the snow. Plows have not bothered at all with side streets <rolleyes>

Empty the F450 might get 10mpg, wasn't built to drive without another 20k attached to it...anyone wanna buy it? My craigslist ad is posted so I can see it, but if you search craigslist it doesn't come up so no one else can see it unless I post a link to it...I don't understand it...gonna try to repost it and see if I can get it to work.

Brendon your trip is exactly half, or one way to Cali for KOH from Fort Wayne...but 20 mpg isn't going to happen...and diesel is $3.29/gallon here.

Great times Dan, glad you and T could make it!!!

I got the garage cleaned up and got five cars in it. The Willys, the baby jeep, Grace's Nissan, my company car, and the xjbuggypopcan...only thing in the driveway is the f450 and truck camper.

Its a white out here right now, got about 1 inch over night, getting 2 to 4 this afternoon and more over night. Work is going to be fun, at least I get to start the night with a "garage kept" car...don't tell my boss.

My laptop is in for repairs again, the power cord where it plugs in on the computer needs fixed, it won't hardly charge or stay running. Good to have computer buddies, unfortunately at home we have to use the 2000 desktop that is so slow, so I'm barely online...laptop was purchased in April of 2004, the hard drive has been replaced, ram added, and this power cord issue, hoping to get a couple more years out of it...we did go look at new ones last night, man have prices come down.

Had a little fun in the jeep after work. Actually had to use 4wd to keep her on the road, no matter if its highway or backroads its slick here. Only about an inch of snow but is covering up ice from the rain yesterday. Almost blew two beads hitting a curb but they stayed on the bead. I had fun on the way home.

Just to be clear, Madison is 300 miles from the Metrodome, and most of that is to the south. Snow up here is pretty dry, almost a 15:1 precip ratio.

The Metrodome did have staff trying to keep the roof clear, they were pulled off last night due to safety concerns. First time since 1983 that it's collapsed. CNN has video (from Fox Sports Network) from inside the 'dome showing the collapse.

Yeah I just noticed that if jumped up about 15 cents a gallon here, we're at $3.25 in bloomington.

You guys always have crappy prices. When ever I head down there I always fill up in Indy... Seriously

Exit 95 has the best prices usually. Its been expensive here too.

I had problems like that with several of my CL posts. You will have to make a completely new post in a different format (different wording) to get it to work. If you copy/paste from Word or other it won't take for some reason.

BTW diesel is $3.29 here.

I've never seen gas higher than 2.99 here in Menomonie, or back home in Onalaska/La Crosse...

Yesterday it was $3.05 here in Menomonie....

The mouse on my computer at work died last Wednesday. Still haven't gotten another one, so I've been doing everything by keyboard-only. Unfortunately doing writing software is pretty easy without a mouse, but screwing around playing Freecell and posting on NAXJA (or using any other website) is a lot more difficult. But I'm suffering through.
