I was under once before for my wisdom teeth. Woke up and tried pulling EKG sensors off so I would "flatline", made some goofy comments at the nurses. Got wheeled out the back in a wheelchair.

Still no fillings for this guy.
 
I've been under 4 times before, twice when I was younger for tubes in my ears, then once for a repair on my lip when I get hit with shrapnel from a dropped mason jar, and finally for a hernia repair last year. The first three weren't great, but the last one was awesome. They've made some great advances in anesthetics. I woke up with a little pain but I felt pretty good, within an hour I was home and hobbling around.
 
I'm alive. Sore throat. Good meds. Milkshakes rule! I guess I said some funny stuff coming out of being under. The operating table was heated. I'm staying over night to monitor sleep apnea which is one of the reasons for having the tonsils out. Two weeks and I should be back in service...

mac..I will assume that you are still somewhat under the meds b/c you just posted "milkshakes" and "sore throat" in the same sentence in the MWC and probably did not realize it! :D

just giving ya some shit man, get well soon. Make sure that Grace takes good care of ya..or vice versa :) (of course you would not fit in the naughty nurse outfit as well as she would I am sure! )
 
The day is moving along very slowly here today. I haven't had a single vehicle in my stall all afternoon.

Paid hourly or by the job? I've had those days with absolutely nothing coming in. I get paid by the job, so those days really suck. I usually end up working on my own vehicle when that happens.
