Important

Anything more than 500gb really taxes the USB power. I'm sure they're out there, but they're $$$

Yeah, probably so.
I'm still tickled with what I got.

Just got back from the range. Big Hank was going so I decided to tag along. Man, is it COLD here! The windchill was in the single digits if not below zero but I got to shoot some nice .22 pistols, I am pretty sure I'll have to have one! :D

Thats what I'm talking about....

Parakeet

I always thought it would be fun to be an "ice road trucker".
Well after two trips top to bottom of Illinois, I qualify.
Hey Gov, just cause the state is broke doesn't mean you should send all of the snow plow drivers home....

Paid up! I was a little unclear on it but I had to select, 1 WF, one shirt and one meal ticket for a total of 35 bucks. Does that sound right?

What is another name for a flag nut? Those hex nuts with a wing sticking off of it so it will catch on something and you don't have to use a wrench. Like how the XJ control arm bolt heads are.

Need some new ones for my exhaust downpipes, but Fastenal's website has no idea what I'm talking about, and even Google only gives me a handful of related sites. So clearly they're called by some other name that I don't know.

the ones that have that little tab mounted to nut?
Yep, the nut with a little lever sticking off of it.
wing nut?
Not a wing nut, that is a nut with the handles on it so it can be fastened by hand.

Worst case I guess I can tack a piece of scrap onto a nut and call it good, I don't have a lot of room to work with though so it'd be nice to have the right thing. So weird that these are so unheard of, guess I need to go to fastener college to learn what they're called.

Ok i gotcha lemme check im thinkin captured nut but i know its not it.

Like the nut that holds the track bar bolt with a metal wing.

Yes! Just like the nut for the track bar. Which everyone breaks and replaces with a regular nut. If I had the space to work with I'd just do that, but geez... even with the right nut I'm still going to need 6 hands to put this exhaust together.

Just thumbed through my fastenal big blue book, and I couldn't find any, either. The closest I could find were the dainty little "J" nuts, basically just a threaded clip, like the ones that hold our fenders on...

Sorry.
