Said Waggy belongs to someone we know in SoCal.....

So he's a member? Great to have one of our guys grace the pages with his own feature article...even if he is in the SoCal chapter...

I thought I had a picture of his rear driveshaft from the Fall Fling a few years ago, apparently not. He'd managed to bang it against a rock, and torqued into a drill bit.

Here I go again......

<sigh> Dad's at it again, got a wagon ride Friday night. </sigh> He's going into surgery tonight. It's not supposed to be life-threatening, but he's too weak to go under a general anesthetic so he gets a local.

Just call me paranoid.

He's out of surgery and doing well, I'm told. Gotta have 2 more procedures at 48 hours and 96, but things are looking up for the cranky old man, right now.

I am right there w/ ya sean. But I also usually reserve my 4th of July time for being on our house boat and around half naked women...

Got the Transfer case drop kit installed tonight... :clap:Took 4hrs with a vice grip with no results on the studs.... Switched to a pipe wrench and had both out in 15mins.
Dropped cross member, only to find when putting back together, that the cross member had shifted and wouldn't line up with the bolt holes... Bolted one side together, then used a ratchect strap around member and main support bar for sliders and pulled the member into place. :gee:

Drives nice now, only feel vibe for a couple seconds from 35~37. The whole vehicle seems to, I don't know, drive firmer? Not as much vibrations over bumps or anything... Also, the throttle seems a lot firmer... Thinking maybe the cable or something is pinched somewhere now? Don't knw, will look at it in the morning...

Now I gotta work on relocating front brake line mounts, checking alignment and steering, and find out what pulley and/or bearing is out cause i have a high screech/squeal that gets faster when revved. thinking bearing in alt or a/c comp, or idler pulley... Also need to adjust steering stops so wheels don't rub LCAs...
