Important

Indy truly is comp rig worthy.
If nothing else, if it's not far out of your way, stop by and walk it.

well unless we get a chance on sunday, its prolly won't happen...we only have sunday as a free day and its going to be spent R&R...somehow...

mac 'my vacation this year' gyvr

just herd back from FCS (Farm Credit Services) and things are looking good...nothing like a hundred pages of forms to fill out :D I guess if it was easy everyone would be doing it :dunno:

buddy of mine called me a few minutes ago on a D44 front out of a Waggy w/ 4.88's and new Detroit all installed in Feb of this year and a Ford 8.8 w/ 4.88 and detroit. $900 for the pair...I am really thinking serious about it. They were out of a TJ so I would have to add leaf perches to the 8.8 but that is seeming like minimal work. The bitch is that one is 6 lug and the other is 5. Might have to check into 5 to 6 lug spacers/adapters.

That's a good deal. I have that much in my front Turdy alone. Of course that was back in the day when I could blow stupid money on Jeep parts.

You can convert it to 5 lug ford, I did so I know you can:spin1:

That sucks that your needing to sell that rig Byron, it is a sweet ride. I can not believe that I am even contemplating selling my Heeps to help buy this land, but am praying that I can get it bought w/o liquidating my toys. But I guess the flip side is that you can always buy another Heep, but you can not always buy the land that surrounds you....opportunity always has a cost involved!

Yeah.......I hear that they've stopped production of land .....

smart ass :D I figure I better do what it takes to get it bought before a poverty stricken family of 38 moves a crappy trailer in right next to me and bought it on government assistance!

<chuckle> Plant a cornfield right along the property line.... and fertilize it with what one of those big Mann trucks pull!

I've heard tales of farmers having problems with hunters blocking access into fields..... when said farmer is pulling a spreader load of chicken manure. Hilarity ensues.

Honest to God true story, there is a landowner in my county that got tired of poachers shooting deer on his property and instead of building a tall privacy/parimeter fence he had dozers push up a 8 ft tall bearm around his property and even went to the extent of putting in under ground drainage to the near by creek so it would not make his property a muddy mess...all over some stupid deer. I wish I had that kind of money to throw around. Dozers were there on site for over a month doing all of this, at $100/hr I can just imagine the overall bill!!

Iowa-vs-Iowa State joke

How do you keep an Iowa State fan from masturbating? Paint his private part gold and black and he will only
beat it 6 times in 30 years!

turn it into a park and we will all bring some rocks and stuff each time we come and slowly build it up.

Give local construction companies a place to dump broken concrete and rocks... you will have stuff to build a park than you could ever want to look at.

wish it was that easy, I live outside of a town of 2000 people, and a county of less then 4000 people..not alot of construction around these parts that would involve that type of material..now I could get a bunch of old shingles since everyone is going w/ metal roofs around here :D
