Tiredest I have been in a while, chainsaw safety training, a one credit+certification, two day weekend course on using a chainsaw. Lots of pulpwood was cut and hauled in the last two days. 7am-4pm, drinking beer to ease the ache :D

More important the Bengals win!!:yelclap:

Pay it forward....

Did me good deed for the day.

While filling up with diesel tonight after dinner, I noticed a gent having a very bad day with a late model Chevy pickup. He'd started by picking up a nail in his left front tire, then discovering that his spare tire carrier has a secondary latch that wasn't releasing. And at 7:00 PM on a Sunday night, nobody is open. He'd also never heard of a tire plug, and the station across the street had them on the shelf. He's a much happier man now than he was an hour ago.

And no, no cash accepted. Do a favor for somebody else who's stranded.

Good philosophy, rather than pay me, make sure you pass it on. Could do this country some good.

New toy (don't be expecting some monster military truck like when Tyler gets a new "toy"):

4x4, 5 speed, needs some valve work (burnt exhaust valve) and a bit of body work. Pretty excited about getting it back together and driving it like I acquired it through illegal means.

Thanks for the sig^

I can use that in two ways. Yeah, I wanna drive your Sidetrack, but I need to get my pile fixed too.

Paid a lot of attention to the XJ today. Started out with a simple front axle shaft swap due to a bad u-joint (quicker to swap a shaft and change the joint on the bench later). Decided that since it was already on the lift, I should go ahead and rotate the tires. Then I checked ball joints and hub bearings; the P/S hub was loose so I had to change that too. Ran some more wire for the rock lights also.

Nice to have a slow day at work to catch up on Jeep projects!

finally home from the Texas hunting trip..it was a blast but I am glad to be home for one night before I hit the road again for 3 more days...then this weekend is off to Kansas for wheeling...I live the life of a nomad...
