I drive an all-wheel drive cargo van. All I have to say is when it comes to the ice I'll take rear wheel drive any day. At least you still have 2 wheels that aren't spinning while stepping on the gas going up the hills in the UP of Michigan.
 
7 inches here. God I love cutting track into virgin snow. Maybe 4 more tomorrow. I'm praying to the snow god's. Pissed me off, they plowed the alley while I was at work.
 
Only got a couple of inches Thursday night & Friday morning. There's a little more than an inch this morning, another 3-4" today, and another inch tonight & tomorrow.

Might be a fun drive into Minneapolis this afternoon for the Mannheim Steamroller concert.

Around 2 hours in, a little under an hour back.

And the concert was good. If you like Mannheim Steamroller, it's well worth going to see.
 
Above zero here, bright sun and a light breeze. Aside from being a little chilly, it's actually a pretty nice day here.

Now, over at my folks on the east side of Lake Michigan.... he's planning on having to clear the driveway at least once more today.

Just saw the totals, We are at almost 30 inches of snow for the month, I guess the average is 7.
 
Still over 55k people without power in the Fort Wayne area. That's half of what it was from the starting point on Friday morning... -1 right now...the high on Sunday never got above 5 degrees. The ice storm brought 1/2 to 1 inch of ice in the area...I have been lucky enough to keep power throughout...but the generator is on stand by...in the meantime, I've become a shelter of sorts for those who are without power...

Went to see family in NW Ohio this weekend. 600 miles round trip. We saw all but 7 miles of I-70 from the OH to IL border, westbound was into a 30 mph headwind.

The things we do for family.
 
-10 degrees F in northwestern St. Paul, MN when I walked into the office 45 minutes ago.
 
wind chill was -16 last night. My jeep didn't like starting up in it at all!
