Important

I have no idea what your talking about.

Back in the good ole hot and sticky, lebanon was very nice though. Thinking about doing a semester over there this spring.

so so so so so so so hot, one of the reasons i'd like to go to school there. No war going on, just some isolated fighting against one of the refugee camps that is housing some fatah al islam people(al qaeida ties)

I'm doing my part.

just lifted my bro in laws 99'

Mass. Jeeps suck! They must salt the roads. 4 hours just to get the leaf springs off. 3 additional holes had to be cut into the body to get nuts on spring bolts, and the shocks.

Can't be much worse than trying to remove bolts from a 35 yo CJ5 that's been sitting outside the whole time. I've taken it down to the frame and I've only been able to remove a dozen bolts without breaking them or having to cut them off. I really need to get a heatwrench.

I pulled apart my 20 year old CJ5 in one night. bolts creaking and popping all the way.

This took a day and a half just to pull the rear springs and install the rear locker. The complications arose when the bolts finally came out of the nut inserts in the body, and froze to the sleeve in the spring eye bushing.

Put it this way.....the frame bent and the bolt still didn't come out when we hooked the top of the hi-lift to it and used it as a slide hammer. The frame bending did however allow easy removal once the bolt was cut. Those bolts aren't found in any hardware store or industrial shop. For some reason no one carries a 14mm bolt with a 2mm thread pitch.

now you know what we go thru in the midwest when working on our rigs :kissyou:

Why not just stop dumping salt all over the roads?

My jeep was a Colorado state vehicle. They've got snow there yet my jeep did Not have a lick of rust on it till I cut the fenders. Even now the only rust there is on mine is surface rust on the places where I've either cut it and been too lazy to paint it or the tires rubbed the paint off.

God bless the south.

welcome to the hell that is working on mine.
I've given up, I just buy new hardware before I start, and break all the old ones. It's easier.
