x2 , and the next 3 days!

Maybe I'm too old and poor ... but I wish I had enough work at Work to be there and making some money. :bawl:

Tomorrow= Triple time baby!!

:D

Good Jeep day today.

Got the adjustable track bar installed.
Got my Barrio Fab Works inspired tube doors installed.
Got my Menard's Off-Road flares installed.

Lost about 15 lbs. of rust. And a huge goober of Bondo.
Funny thing though, my steering wheel is 180 degrees off.

Good non-Jeep day today.

Scored a good vertical freezer for *ZERO* today. Brewed up another 5 gallons of homebrew hefeweizen (ready in 5 weeks or so,) and made chicken fajitas for dinner.

x2 got 5 hours of it tonight! Overtime went though the roof. Yea it's going to suck, but at least I won't be broke anymore. I think I might try to pay my heep off. I've only got a year left to go anyway.

As good as last weekend at Flat Nasty was, Superlift turned out to be almost the polar opposite. After a long drive and only a few hours sleep, I run into Hinkleberry... he sends his love. The park was way crowded, to the point of almost overwhelming the bathroom facility. The perpetually loose climbs posed more challenge than my MJ was up for; and to top it all off, I rolled the damn thing before the first day was over. I wasn't injured and it is fixable (not gonna look the same though,) but the kicker is that I wasn't even on a trail... just trundling down an access road trying to get back to the parking lot to use the aforementioned crapper.

I did finally get the pics from the previous weekend though, so I'll post them up soon.

When we were at Superlift, John went up a steep hill with loose rock. Just before the top of the hill he went sideways and almost rolled.
We were all standing on the rock rails to keep it from rolling and were able to winch it up the hill. If John would have went over, he would have had a long roll to the bottom. :scared:

My local club was up there this weekend Louisianajeepers , did you do any wheeling after you rolled it?

Yeah those loose hillclimbs are a bitch, last time i tried one of those, the jackasses that I had asked if I could follow just kept on truckin and left me there. Sure as sh%^ they needed my help when I got caught up to them tho.

you convince ramathorn to come meet you?

He's in his mother land, training with Hizbullah.

If I had known you guys were gonna be there I would have made every effort to be there.

Instead the local club said they were going and I said.....meh, i just got back from Hawaii yesterday, no thanks.

I had mentioned it earlier in this thread that I was going. I was wheeling with some local buddies, Chip in the black Ram and Gary in the green Samaurai. I saw one NAXJA-stickered XJ there, it was a clean black pre-'97 with a modest build. Several other XJ's though and even one more MJ.

Got any pics to share Mark?

I have a nice sequence from Flat Nasty, but Photobucket is not being cooperative.

I was refering to Superlift pics, but I'll look at FN pics too.:D

Use MWXJ to host.

No pics that I took at SL, might be able to get some from Gary. He took video of me attempting some crazy rock wall thing.

Pic of the damage from the roll?

Glad you were ok...but how the hell did you roll it on an access road?
