Show up to work and the door is locked and nobody knows what the hell is going on as far as the training schedule is concerned. Just another fine Army day!

They are training you to deal with a situation where no one knows what's going on. Kinda sounds SOP to me. :gag:

How's that going BTW?

Well, nobody knows what's supposed to be going on still. Those of us who are here fulltime are wondering where our TPU Soldiers are and what they're doing. The 1SG still hasn't let us NCO's know what is going on. If it stays like this all day I think I'm gonna leave at my earliest convenience. No sense wasting my time on a weekend if they have nothing for me to do.

Wow, the army has a substitute teacher rule?

I joined the wrong damn service.

It's more a Ft. McCoy thing than anything. We don't always play by Army rules.

I still have no idea where they were, nor do I really care. I had had enough at about 3pm and so I left the office and wasn't missed at all. I do know where they will be tomorrow: out on the parade field for our BDE CSM's retirement ceremony.

Remote from Beirut, Lebanon.

Damn I love this place.

So stay there.

To celebrate being out of my leg brace, I went back to Flat Nasty this past weekend. Pushed my MJ harder than ever before, and it kicked ass. Gotta get the pics from a buddy's camera, but my friend Brian (some of you may remember, silver TJ on 36's) spotted me through several black diamond trails. I also managed to conquer the spot on the bunny trail where I pretzeled my rear driveshaft (the first time) last year at the big dogs run. The coup de grace was gracefully crawling over the boulders at the turn in the beginning of trail 5. Excellent weekend all around, ready for Superlift this weekend.

Good to hear you're healthy.

Trail 5 is what we did in the rain that saturday at WF?

Glad to hear your feeling better!
A good weekend or two of wheeling does wonders for the soul.:)
