Important

Fighting a brutal hangover today. Sure there's usually a few beers every night but it's been a while since I really went for it.

Been up for all of 9 hours and it's time for lights out I think.

Fresh keg in the Kegerator?

Actually we ran it out last night... then rum and gin got involved. I think I remember learning something in school about "beer before liquor". I dunno.

The kegerator is usually stocked with yellow water (Coors Light), that limits how much damage I can do to myself.

:roflmao: At least you guys had fun!

"Beer before liquor, you've never been sicker. Liquor before beer, you're in the clear."

Yeah that never worked for me, switching poisons mid-stream was never good.

Just got home a little while after one of the worst weekends I've had working the park. Got down there late Friday night. Got the cabin unlocked and the heater ignitor wasn't working. So I head down to the genny to get some lights to get the heater going. Someone had left the key on and the battery was drained... So I grab the jumper cables pop the hood, find the red lead off the battery, etc etc untill sparks start shooting out from battery. I unhook everything and get my flashlight as I had been working by headlights. Look at the battery and there are 2 red cables off of it. Someone used a red cable for the neg lead. So now at 2am I'm down power, and heat and it's about 40* in the cabin. And to top that off I took the dog with me and instead of laying on my bed keeping me warm, she laid on the other bed. Damn dog decided Sat night that she wanted my bed and nearly shoved me out of it at 6am this morning.

And then came the guest of the park. We got nearly 5" of rain on Sat. and when that happens KS Rocks becomes downright nasty in places. At 5pm I had everything done and all but one rig out of the park. At 545 I had to go look for him. He was lost so I didn't get to leave until 6:30. This caused me to miss dinner. Chicken and bacon quesadillas. My weekend of relaxing wasn't what it needed to be needless to say.

Parakeet

So a new to me species of frog has decided to take up residence outside our bedroom window somewhere.
It is a very very loud frog that sounds more like a bird chirping than a frog croaking.
I did some investigation and it is a called a "spring peeper"
it does this noise all night long unless you go outside with a flashlight to find and destroy it

I dunno. Need the tailhousing since we're swapping out a 2wd AX15. Since it's from a TJ it should bolt up to a 96 4.0 just fine.

Shipping would probably kill the deal though.

I have found the NFL network with about 30 minute sleep timer puts me to bed pretty easily. Good luck with the frog.

I was getting bored with it.

The wife wanted a JK, but it was cheaper to buy some cutting wheels and tubing.

Any body panel that isn't removable is getting cut off or plated.

It will look better when it is done than it did before.

I have complete faith in you! It was time to take it to the next level anyways, right? :D

you'll end up cutting up your junk too.

Sounds painful.

Seems like no matter what you wheel or where you start, you always end up with a buggy. When I think about what I want to do with my rig and where it could potentially be in a few years, that's always where I end up. A tube frame buggy is the "doing it right" version of what most hacked up vehicles are. Probably cheaper too. Still more fun to do it the way we do it though. :D
