Important

I'm curious. Every time someone posts a CL link around here, it seems like it's flagged immediately. Are you guys that cut-throat, or just being difficult?

so, last night I was finishing up some last minute items on this YJ project that I have been working on and "whack", next thing I know is that JR is cutting my jeans and Jeremy has pulled the power cord on the grinder. It "bit" me as some would say. It caught the metal wrong and shot into my thigh. It just goes to show you that even when one is wearing protective gear and being careful accidents can happen. I had even made sure to tuck in my loose clothing and all, but none the less it got me. This is just a reminder to all of you while your working on your rigs to be extra careful. As quote in Monty Python "It's merely a flesh wound"

Make sure to get it cleaned good. I caught myself in the lip, thought I had it cleaned & 3 days later had the worst infection I ever had. Docs said it needed stitches, but what do they know. JIM.

Kids,

Cut up a good pair of jeans over a little grinder rash :wierd:

Pull up your man panties and finish up the job.

;)

haha, actually the grinder tore the jeans up but we cut them to get the grinder out of them since they were already ripped at that point. We did finish the job up last night and it went out for paint this morning and should be done in a week or so. As far as man panties...commando is where it is at! :D

I have no welding skill, but from what I've heard about welding to the unibody maybe that worked better for me. I just laid down sheet metal, hammered it into the right shape, then RTVed and riveted it in place before bedlining it. Probably was the most solid part of the Jeep.

Cool, good luck gettin er done. Makes my to do list for the noob run seem piddly. You just inspired me to get started on my list, though...

NACHO DANGER!
Gehl Foods has a recall on their HotTop 2 dispensers. Something about fan blades, heating elements, fire and burns. Sounds ominous.

Don't know what model dispensers you guys are using, but I got a notice in the mail today, thought I'd pass this along. Recall is for serials HT2 164500 through 299689. If yours don't fall in there, they aren't part of the recall.

HOLY HELL!!!, I am going to have to check mine now.....I am running a Gehls unit for the shop!

Quick check!
The Cheese Must Flow... Without it, the universe as we know it will cease to exist...

We've got two dispensers at the store. I have to run up and check the numbers later. Can't have a cheese related fire- that would be crippling emotionally, and financially.

So I've had an up and down day today. I woken up by my wife getting ready to leave for work and she told me the dog crapped in the house and asked if I would clean it up. While I was cleaning up a rather large pile of doggy doo, a buddy called. One of our good friends passed away last night. Earl lost his battle silently, and painlessly in his sleep.

Then later on I got a call and have an interview set up with Autozone tomorrow, maybe I can get a job again. I miss working, I love my family but watching the kiddo all day and then having to be home at night too it's trying my sanity.

I'm sorry for the loss of you're friend, prayers are being made. I know how you feel about not having a job. I lost mine last November and have had not so much luck in the job field... Hope the interview goes well for you!!
