Important

unfortunatly the Chicago city impound is not open to the public. I was thinking that if it was it would be worth my drive up with a few trucks and trailers, but no go.

I hate it when stuff just doesn't work. I attempted to replace the dipstick tube on the FSJ tonight since the original had rusted away at the block. After pulling the oil pan and driving the remains of the old tube out, I discovered that the replacement tube, straight from Mopar, wouldn't fit the hole in the block. :banghead: So now it sits at the shop waiting for another non-mangled-in-frustration tube from an aftermarket supplier.

Oh and the 4" lift is still sitting on the shop floor also.

damn i was about to order discos and a t-case drop from rustys, go to check out and its lik 20 bucks shiping

any one know a coupon code?

Give them a call when they are open. The online thing always has outrageous shipping.

it was high when i ordered my lift by calling in also........... im thinking they must just give a flat rate price on shiping or something

Put the brakes back together, could only bleed one side. Does anyone know the exact size of the bleeder screws? Also put on a smokeshow for the neighbors with some seafoam.

Lots'o lightning tonight. I've been watching it out the kitchen window.

That's nothing... I had to fork out $181 to ship my FSJ lift from Rusty's. The other company I was looking at was going to be $201.

Tim - yeah it sucked.

Just a question, not to start a controversy, but why not call Jason at Rough Country and buy from them? You will get a discount of sorts and their shipping is always cheap as hell. RC has been very generous to NAXJA as well as the MWC at WF and they are some good guys. Afterall, a t-case drop is the same from just about any place you buy them. I ordered a Rustys aluminum t-case drop a few years back and they sent me two rough aluminum blocks, not the cool machined ones with teh Rustys logo on them like in the pics. RC t-case drops are poly spacers, not aluminum for what it is worth. And I have no experience or knowledge of the Rustys discos, but RC makes them as well and they do what they are supposed to. I ran a set for a bit when I used to have a sway bar...many moons ago....And without doubt, the customer service that you can/will receive from RC is top notch.....
