Important

X3 never ordered anything from them but I've met Jason he's a cool guy!

that he is....he is the only parts rep that I have ever met that would trade a full set of shocks for a fried turkey leg at WF :D which I might ad that I ate half of when he offered me a bite :D

Just a question, not to start a controversy, but why not call Jason at Rough Country and buy from them? You will get a discount of sorts and their shipping is always cheap as hell. RC has been very generous to NAXJA as well as the MWC at WF and they are some good guys. Afterall, a t-case drop is the same from just about any place you buy them. I ordered a Rustys aluminum t-case drop a few years back and they sent me two rough aluminum blocks, not the cool machined ones with teh Rustys logo on them like in the pics. RC t-case drops are poly spacers, not aluminum for what it is worth. And I have no experience or knowledge of the Rustys discos, but RC makes them as well and they do what they are supposed to. I ran a set for a bit when I used to have a sway bar...many moons ago....And without doubt, the customer service that you can/will receive from RC is top notch.....

i will have to give them a call, i looked all over their site last night and couldn't find the T-case drop, i wanted to kill 2 birds with one credit card so i was going to go rustys

on my lunch break i went to Menard's and grabbed some 1" square tube, plan was to come back to work and find the thread i was reading about a week ago that took all the guess work out of hood spacers to let some hot air out, i have been searching for about 3 hours, clicked on every thread that had the word hood or spacer in it and skimmed through them and still cant find it, any one know what i talking about or can tell me what size bolts to "borrow" from work to make these hood spacers so i dont have to stand in the rain today, if not i hope it dosent rain tomorrow

I don't like the vert pieces of tubing- prolly works fine though, assuming you can cut straight (which I normally can't). Thinking about trying this the next time I make a road trip when it's freakin' hot.

Waiting for my UC replacement coils, and other motor and trans mount. Another fine weekend of drinking beer, swearing, and hating Jeep engineers is in my immediate future.

I did that many moons ago. I used 1 inch rather than 3/4" tubing. With the 3/4"s it only gave around a 1/2" gap over the seal.

Why not just get some Hood Vents. I mean those would look better. Just looks like you have a messed up hood when you add the spacers.
X2 yeah I know. The spacers look stupid IMO! I think i'm going with some z34 hood vents eventually some one had a thread about doing that and they put matte black vinyl on the hood too. I think i may do that I should look good with my Moss green

I am just doing it as a temporary thing, i don't get out to the pull it places to often, its also pretty cheep so if i don't like it i can just take it back off and sell it to some unsuspecting teenager :D
