Important

Ok, well it's Sat and Sun, I'll only be there on Sunday, working on my Honda right now, no brakes. If you want I can PM my cell# and we can meet up. I'll be carrying a big ole camera and have a black Canon hat on and will have two females one real small and one a bit shorter than me both with short hair (I have long hair, more than both of them). I'll also have a blue & white USAF lanyard with an airshow media credential. Just yell John....lol
Tickets at Marsh are $18 for adults $8 for kids.

the more FORDs bought the better chance i have at keeping my job, not to mention the F150 is the best thing FORD has put out and that 5.4 is a good motor

Careful... no bailouts so far for FORD.

Nick

Careful? If I am careful I buy anything but a Ferd. I had a couple, never anything but trouble. One new truck broke down 17 times in 6 months, had two engines and one trany. My now beat up ole Dodge has never even had a tuneup in 12 years and 154,000 miles. I wasn't even hard on the thing, but the Dodge from day one has been used and abused. It had three rearends but never once stranded me anywhere. The limited slip rears were an issue but they stuck a posi in it the last time and no problems in 9 years.
The other Ferd was a Taurus, it got great gas mileage but wouldn't get out of it's own way even downhill. The issue it had was CV joints going all the time and loosing the left front wheel as well. The 4th time it lost the left front it went to the scrap yard......
I also remember how cheap Ford is, one I worked there at the Lima engine plant and they allowed junk engines out the door. I also remember the $1 part they didn't put on the early Escorts that could have prevented fires in rearend crashes, but it wasn't cost effective....so they thought. After the lawsuits started flowing in they decided to add the $1 part and the fires diminished a lot.
As long as people remember past experiances with a company they tend to stay or avoid that company, and I won't buy a FORD if they are the last auto maker on the planet......I'll find an XJ and rebuild it!

The only ford i'll buy would be a 65-71 mustang.

Finally getting around to working on my M8000.

When I go to wind the cable back on... over the drum or under?? I can't remember which way the cable was on it when I took it off...

From a mechanic's point of view.... I hate Fords. It's too bad our biggest fleet customer (local ambulance service) is 95% ex-police Crown Victorias and Econoline-based ambulances.

I am not a big Mustang Fan.
I grew up a Mopar fan.

Afriend recently bought the 09 Mustang Bullet.
he put $6000 into the engine and suspension before it hit 500 miles.
it is lowered and bad ass.

the 2010 mustangs are 10 times better than before, it makes me like mustangs again

i would still rather have a chalenger though but the ford is a close second

the front end of the 2010 Mustangs are a bit Camaro-esk in my opinion.....but hell, most cars now a days look somewhat alike in one way-shape-or form...

I never was a Mustang fan.. I gotta admit I like the new models.

I like those chargers too...
