Important

I bought all my LS swap stuff into the 68 from CPP and it was a breeze to swap. No fabrication needed at all except on the motor mount adapter plates simply bc I thought the bought ones looked light weight.

Good catch on the tcase Tim, I was not that far into thinking about it yet, but I am thinking that a front axle swap may be easier than swapping in a tcase to get the full factory motor, tranny and tcase to stay mated up from LS donor vehicle. Still way early in the planning phase. Hoping the truck is as solid as the guy claims. Body work and paint dosent bother me, rust does.

And choo choo. Nothing says I love you son like two turbos on your v8.

except a single 70mm

that has soooo much lag it breaks the tires loose when it comes into the boost no matter the gear.

that really says I love you, and also try not to die.

edit:
We'll add this to the list of reasons why I should not have children.

You can swap the tcase but you'll need to rig up an output shaft speed sensor to make the trans shift. It'll have to be in the transfer case so it'll shift correctly in 4lo.

I had found a company that had one that went between the cable and gear in the tcase but I'd have to dig it up.

I have a 4l80e to mate to my 205 in my wonton but haven't started on it yet

People have differing opinions on what is capable of being a DD to them. Just like jeeps. Most run sway bars and small twins.

I choose no sway bars and big singles for drivers.

C cups vs DDs, same argument. When is to much still not enough

This add is right below that post....too much for me

dd's sag and get sloppy.
a's are perky for life.

would you rather live everyday with small perky twins, or a big sloppy single?
I'm good with small and perky.

There's a J-10 D44 with 4.10 gears on Great lakes 4X4 with XJ perches for cheap. Not sure if anyone here could use it, it's the wrong bolt pattern for me

Took the Edge for a test drive today. Surprised how quick that thing felt... and it actually stopped in a decent distance. Wonder whose design Ford stole... The dealer was trying to get me to buy the 530i he had. I kinda always wanted a German higher end car. I think though... that would get people all wound up at the new job.
