Important

Morning guys. Back at it today. Vacation in 4 weeks.

I had an eventful last couple days. My wife woke up last Tuesday with stomach pain. She went to the dr and he thought it was diverticulitis. So she was off the rest of the week and I was chasing kids around. Shes back to almost normal now. Last night my three year old came to us and said he swallowed a quarter. So we did the money line up to see what he ate and he picked out a penny. So the wait and watching begins.

Enjoyed working yesterday, very little work (due to the business part of the office being closed) for $30 an hour.

I'm back after 4 1/2 days off. last week i started popping aspirin by the fist full because of a tooth ache. finally got a dentist to see me on Thursday to find out one of my teeth are infected so i got some antibiotics till i get it yanked out on Thursday.

the bad news is in my time off no one did any of my shit. that's also the good news because they usually screw everything up. so I'm playing catch up all day today, came on here to catch my sanity for a moment.

the jeep has been sitting in the garage on jack stands since after WF with leaf spring bolts frozen in place. every time i spray pb blaster the wife bitches at me. it might as well be in it final resting place...

moped does 30 mph after some carb tweaking.

I put 18 miles on it over the weekend.

It may have to make a WF appearance.

whats everyone's thought on selling something that you were given. i had some ATV parts that i gave to a buddy. i didnt need them anymore and could've sold them myself but figured i'd help him out and just gave them to him. he had said parts for literally 2 days and just listed them on craigslist. this is around $100 in parts. what say you? jerk move or am i being a baby? i've always been the "pay it forward" type of person so its kind of bothering me.

Did you give them to him to use or sell?

Worked all weekend. Computer in the company car took a dump over the weekend, got it replaced this morning. Working at part time now.

I think I would've checked with you before I sold something you gave me and probably offered to split the profits with you. Or at least buy you some alcohol.

I have had the same thing happen to me Wade, n it pissed me off too. If I give something to someone to help them out, then great, but if they don't use it and sell it for profit, it chaps my ass. I'm pretty stingy now a days....

Cheese gave me some shit one time.
If I ever sell a line of Bullshit to someone, I guess I will have to send Cheesy a Flat rate box with a zip lock bag inside it containing a turd.

I give you all kinds of shit, and not a damn bit of it is worth a cent!

Sorry to hear on the pooch Andy. I guess the bright side is you are not digging a hole for a St. BERNARD.

It's wrong. If you are given something for free like that, it is wrong to sell. (unless he was to ask you if was okay to sell)

Closest guess without going over on repair bill gets a drink on me at the VFW at WF2017.
RV currently has the following repairs to be made (5.9 cummins).
Headgasket
Reman head
Rear main seal
Oil pan gasket
Tranny pan gasket
New Radiator
All new radiator hoses
CAC cleaned and pressure checked
New CAC hoses
Oil line to turbo (looked scary, bad if they go)
Down pipe from exhaust manifold (flange is gone)
Wiring harnesses to alternator (corroded, known to go bad and shut you down)
Rebuilt alternator (my choice cause no extra labor)
Water pump (my choice because labor is almost nothing)
Bunch of misc fluids that go with it all.
Labor to remove it all out the back of the coach.

That should be about it...
They tell me Friday it should be done, I am betting early next week (which is fine no trip planned til June 10th).
