yeah. it speeds up the cooking while making them tender and keeping the moister in. some people, including myself, add apple juice to the foil wrap.
 
I have only wrapped once. That was a brisket that was on the smoker for 14 hours before I wrapped.
Was still tight as shit. I think it was just a bad piece.

I have done the pull of the pit, wrap in a towel and put in a cooler for an hout method once.

Looks real good though!

Matt came by yesterday as i was coming home with the supply's. it kinda just got done after that. you can come over and help move all those wires. :D
