just stay close to Nate...the U-hambulance will get their attention way before you

I literally laughed out loud when i read this ..

i lived there for a couple of years while my daughter was a baby . no way in hell i would have stayed there when school age started .

it was one of the worst places ive stayed.
Its right up there with Gary indiana , North Vegas , and the east side of Pueblo Co, and el paso tx /Juarez mexico .. LOL !

Juarez wins (or loses) I wouldnt stay there after dark .

(also need to reread the S.F. policy we have because that is B.S. )

I was in st louis for work all last week for work near the airport.

When I got the policy, I told the underling of my Agent that I have approx ~10k in tools, thus the 15k limit. I'm new to this game, last 6yrs I was covered under parents insurance since I was a full time student. I had no idea to specifically ask if these tools were considered business items or not and if they'd be covered particularly since I didn't even know there were such things as 'business items'. I knew I had bought tools and I owned them.

you have a shitty agent

i inquired about my guns and computers and they told me that the 10k renters only allowed for x amount of coverage for firearms and x amount for electronics, hence extra policies

short"extra 6 dollars works for me"xjdoug

So is $35 a seat a good deal? I am pretty positive I am picking them up, just need someone to say that it is a good price to make me do it once I get my tax return (due to be deposited tomorrow). Then I will have to look up how to make the power part work on my non power xj rails.

Pretty good deal.
there should be a 2 pin connector under the carpet on all xj models for the xj's with power seats. they didn't make a different harness for that option IIRC.

When I got the policy, I didn't talk to my actual agent, I dealt with one of his underlings...

UPDATE:
Surprisingly, my agent called me this afternoon. He's offered to sit down with me and go through the transcripts together and see if we can't figure something out... I mentioned to him the idea of just covering the basic stuff and leave the specialty out of it, just so I could see some money... Transcripts will be here in 2-3 days.

Th, I bet you already have power there somewhere... My 97 did under the carpet behind the seat.

Pretty good deal.

Yep.

side note, who knows about the 6.9 liter Ford diesel?

The Indy junkyard I checked lists them somewhere around $30 each, so it's not bad. I paid $80 for a pair of leather ZJ buckets from a member here, which were the only seats I ever saw for sale in this area for less than a couple hundred for a set (which I think is ridiculous).

For mine, all I had to do was unplug the motors on the ZJ bases, bolt the ZJ seats to the XJ bases, and hook up power and ground. It is very simple, and covered in the numerous seat swap threads.

Our work truck is having some problems...

99 S-10, 4.3L, auto, 2wd, 265K. Has new radiator and thermostat. Took it to our local garage to get it serviced. They said it was down 2 gallons of coolant. Oil was not milky or contaminated. No leaks or anything like that could be seen. My question is: Where could the coolant be going?

Believe so. I don't know much about early diesels

Paging 87"under-powered"manche.......

I sent a txt, no response.

$800, drive it home. It's a 91

Fore 'cool wheel covers' Wheeler

I sell good drivers XJ seats for $150 each. Guys call and scream at me for trying to rip me off then they call back in a week eating crow because they can't find any good ones. Same with drivers window regulators.

Intake manifold leak that is burning it out the exhaust.

Thanks for the help. Looks like a pretty involved fix. Knowing my dad, he'll just keep dumping coolant in it until it hits 300k.
