Important

I learned a few things this weekend; 30" tires just dont cut it when playing in the gravel pit, large quantities of pabst clean me out better then coffee, and I really really need to fix my drivers door speaker.. I tore the bar pin bolts off on the back and had to drive 250 miles home without that shock. It looks like Im going to be building bar pin eliminators tomorrow at work..

X2 Now those axles will NEVER get put in, lol. He might as well put them up for sale.

I have every other weekend free when she's working 16 hour days. So yeah, I still have Jeep time! :D

Snowing here... First time in 4 years I've driven something other than my Jeep in the snow... Not going to lie, I felt a little nervous...

I really haven't driven the Heep in snow in years. Fairly new Michelin LTX M/S IIs on the Dodge, shouldn't have any trouble getting around.

Subarus are good reliable cars... as long as you keep on top of the maintenance. Head gaskets, oil changes, timing belts.

I said it was good in the snow. That's about it. Lucky for us we bought it right after the dealer had replaced the timing belt. The people who owned it before us bought it from that dealer and had every single bit of required and scheduled maintenance done within 20 miles of its required date. They had all the records to back that up too.

Unfortunately for us, right after we bought it the head gaskets failed. It's also been full of little nit picky things that constantly drive me nuts. Ill never own another one.

I love driving in the snow, I find the challenge of not using 4wd the fun part. Around here I don't have to use it that often. The only time I had issues driving on snow is when I had my previous two cars. I had a 95 Grand Am and was on a back country road and my ABS was messing up. Went around a corner on the icy road and spun around. The only other time I had issues was when I had my 01 Malibu and 10" of snow dropped overnight. I was driving around my neighborhood and my tires were almost bald. Turned around in a driveway and when I tried to go in no tracks snow, I got stuck. Got a 4wd SUV to give me a bit of momentum. One other time I was in my Malibu with the ABS broke (bad wheel bearings) and going down an icy hill, ended up in a ditch. A SUV pulled me out. Got a bit of damage from it, but I never did fix it as it wasn't bad.

Personally, I love the snow and unplowed parking lots.
