Important

but if it were the players on strike, would we more or less up in arms about it? im just saying they are a very important part of the game, and its pretty obvious why right now. i don't want replacement refs in the playoffs...the honest to god truth is that most of the people working/playing in the nfl dont deserve the enormous amounts of money they make, but its a multi billion dollar establishment. the refs make a small drop in the bucket compared to the players, but at the same time they make more in 17-25 weeks than i could ever make in a year. ah well, it was at least a crappy call that didn't go to the pack for a change :D

alt "looking into a career change to the nfl" rocker1

After a 16 game (18 week) season, they're not replacement referees anymore, they're just referees.

I certainly hope that if the NFL comes to an agreement with the official's union in that sort of scenario they don't throw old men who haven't officiated a game in 12 months right into a playoff game.

An average NFL football game lasts 179 minutes. In that 179 min due to commercials, time outs, and all the other bull crap the ball is actually only in play 11 minutes.

Football is stupid and such a waste of time.

I'm sure that will make a difference :anon:
It was a nationally broadcasted game. You think he's the only one thinking that? Sure as hell ain't. I don't want to sit back and watch games wondering if its going to be fair or not. At one point I saw the Seahawks' head coach waiting for the official to announce the penalty because he didn't know if it was against them or not. Coaches almost always know when their guys mess up. They don't have to wait for the call.
packers did get screwed, but if there as good as all of their fans think they are, then they should have been ahead by enough that the game doesn't come down to a very terrible call. i can't be mad at the ref's at all. they are not used to the speed and nuance of an nfl game...
Seattle made 2 touchdowns on questionable penalties (discounting the endzone penalty). Both of which turned the tides of the game. There was a bogus 15yd penalty in favor of the Seahawks that should have gone 15yds the other way, resulting in a TD drive. Then there was the pass interference call against Sam Shields that also resulted in a TD drive. So yeah, the should have been ahead by enough that it didn't come down to that terrible call.
I think it's sweet that they aren't giving into the referee union bull sh%t. X2 on the pack being as good as their fans think they are.

k "the winning team never cries about the refs" man
Yeah, the winning team never cries but the Seahawks should have said "yeah, we didn't deserve that win." No class.

They may not be used to this kind of speed, but that is exactly what replays, slow motion and reviews are for. They get a lot more time in that little box than they did on the field. Make the right call.

Aside from all the heinous officiating, it was a good game. Scoreless for almost an entire half, that's good football.

pulsating brake pedal equals bad rear drums? cannot feel the breaking in the steering wheel.

95 f350, non dual.

Probably, either have hot spots, or more commonly, if they haven't been replaced in a while/ever, they are now thin and have warped. In the pedal, not the steering wheel most often equates rear brakes.

They couldn't review that touchdown. So whoever the head ref was had to make the call. You would never get enough people to boycott the NFL.

I agree with Redheep also on not wanting the union refs to come back just for the playoffs.

That has changed, the boss said he doesn't think it's profressional if a customer see's it under my shirt, so it gets put in my tool box at work, but it's still loaded & ready.

Hmm.....Our constitution isn't professional.....sounds about right!

Still having issues... Going to check the Fuel pressure today after my last hour gets out...

But doing some research this has me troubled cause the 'extreme case' is what my jeep is doing... "Engine Hesitation on Throttle Application: The TPS is also used by the ECU to determine if the driver has applied the throttle quicker than the Manifold Air Pressure sensor can read. The fueling is adjusted accordingly to cope with the sudden increase in air volume, however a faulty sensor can cause the ECU to ignore this data and the engine will "hesitate" when applying the throttle. In extreme cases with the engine at idle, a sudden application of full throttle can stall the engine. "

I replaced both the TPS and MAP sensor and its still doing it...

I know the "couldn't review" but why? According to them, every scoring play goes under review. Why not this one? I'm still waiting for a legitimate reason. They said something about when it was reviewed, it was only reviewed to re-affirm that the play remained in bounds or something to that effect. Not to determine who had possession.

So what you're telling me is, it doesn't matter who has the ball in the endzone, it's a touchdown for the team going for that endzone? WTF? So when a team is backed up on it's own goal line and the QB takes his snap and drops back, the other team just scored a touchdown?

I'm not saying that the Packers played a winning caliber game, but the players didn't decide who won that game. Seattle did not deserve that win.

I don't understand much from that last play. One official said one thing, another said something else and they didn't get together with the umpire to discuss what really happened? Disregard for blatant penalties. I know they usually overlook a lot of what happens during a last second hail mary throw, but that was just the biggest load of crap I have ever witnessed.

I don't think enough people will boycott the NFL, nor do I believe there will ever be enough to make the difference as to whether or not they play next week. But you can be damn sure that they'll miss the money when people consider the whole organization a joke henceforth.

What I saw last night was not how a game is supposed to go, regardless of who wins. Not as a Packers, Seahawks, Colts or pepperoni pizza fan, but as a football fan, I am very disappointed.

It was something! :D

I won't link it, but he does have a facebook page also.

IAC? it sounds like its got a vacuum leak and no way to compensate

though from that post im not sure what your original problem actually is

I'M ####ING STUPID!!!!!!!!!!

New IAC, TPS, MAP sensors...
New Sparkplugs, Wires, Cap, Rotor...
Hours of tracing vacuum lines and wires for cracks, etc...
Checked the Intake/Header Bolts...
Load tested the Battery...
Checked health of Starter and Alternator...
Checked for parasitic Draws...

Used C-Foam on the throttle body and intake today... Started the Jeep after a while to let it run, burn off the C-foam...

Hey, what's that white smoke coming from the Intake/Header area? Got under the vehicle to check for cracks in header, and there it was... The Header to down-pipe bolts where loose enough that the graphite gasket moved, therefore making an exhaust leak!

I feel like I need to go back to school or something... That's just freaking stupid of me...

Been hauling hay since Sunday with 2 other buddies...it is odd that I burn vacation days to work, but knowing that is what you do when friends and family need help. It is all hauled, and I calculated that I have burn @ 200 gallons of road diesel, but I know they will return the favor if asked.
