Wow that would be great to see you again.

I replied.

I think am narrowing down to XJ, ZJ, exploders and expeditions.

While an XJ or ZJ would be nice...you can get a late 90s decked exploder or expedition with all the buttons for around 2k, they don't seem to rust around here as much at the XJs...with a v8...I think that a v8 exploder (read 302) would be cool.

What happened Moab, did your Chapter kick you out :scottm:

I'm just joking around, no seriousness intended or implied :D It's just so rare to see folks ,outside the usual suspects, post here, and with so much regularity.

Packers Bears game was a defensive battle. Packers running game and offense was a little better, but they are definitely out of sync. Still not as good as they were last year. Pack look like a 10-6 team.

Cutler is definitely eating crow now.

It is hardly legal to own a gun in Illinois at all.
that is not true.
We have discussed this before, I have never ever had difficulty buying a gun in Illinois. The stores are full of them, all makes and models. I, and many of the people I know, have quite an arsenal in our possession.
So, are we clear on "hardly legal"?

We can always do a trailer to trailer on the interstate.

Nope. You guys are just more interesting to talk to.

Actually, you guys just carry on a conversation. Our chapter has totally died lately.

the only concern is he's cutting the shells to do it. Which means the hull goes down the tube.

I'm thinking of just opening up the top and sealing the upper half of the shell with wax. That way the hull stays intact, you get 1/2 the pellets as a "safety slug" and the rest as just regular shot controlled by the wad.

you'll have to make it up to Justin's for test shooting.
not sure how well that would work, the cold shot would probably cool the wax down too fast for it to pour very far into the shell.

So, is a .046 plug gap ok? :D I know what I'm doing tomorrow.....
I need to take pics of the plugs that were in the cavalier I am doing a head job on, it must have had at least 70 or 80 thou plug gaps. Electrodes burnt all the way down to the ceramic and the ground prongs half eroded away as well.

Id take an AA-12 Over a Saiga any day .

FPS Russia did a Video with it and could hold it full auto one handed..

He tried it with the Saiga and it didn't work well.

BTW If you guys havent seen that guys Youtube videos Theyre Awesome
the AA12 is awesome, wish i had a way to get one...

I suppose it is efficient for practice and funzies.

I have Win Rangers and CorBon for my .40. Haven't used many yet. Got the idea of how they shoot at the range and left it at that. Praying to continue not using them.

I use the Hornady Critical Defense in my .380. They don't pass the FBI tests because of penetration, but a .380 never will.

you do the youtube in the [] box, then all the gibberish in the link after the = symbol, followed by the [/yt] box with the full word youtube after the slash. I had to break it down in this manner so it wouldn't show the empty white box.

To add to this -
for instance a url ending in watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ&sns=sms&NR=1

First, cut off anything before the string of characters "v="
now we have dQw4w9WgXcQ&sns=sms&NR=1

Now cut off everything after (and including) the next & (if there is anything, some youtube urls will have this some won't)
now we have dQw4w9WgXcQ

Then put youtube tags around it like Josh said.

Give it a try, this one is a good video

my favorite spark plug find was in a kawasaki 1200cc 4cyl 4 stroke.

pulled cyl 1 plug to do a compression test, the electrode was smashed flat into the plug housing. didnt even comp check it, just called the guy and said his motor needed complete teardown

I detonated all 8 plugs in my 351 Windsor in my 84 f150. Wouldn't start one morning, so I troubleshot it for a week. Put a new carb on it. Was convinced it was fuel. It would start but sounded like ass.
Pulled the plugs on the 6th day and all the plugs looked like someone smashed the ends of them with a hammer. 8 new plugs and she fired right up.

It's funny you mention that the spark plugs looked like they were hit with a hammer. A couple years back one of the techs I work with was sued, and the complaint was that plaintiff saw the tech putting spark plugs in with a hammer lol

I was being funny in that part.

If a purple ZJ were to sit in my driveway awaiting pickup, I would be ok with it.
