Important

It all depends on how quick I can part the xj out and how motivated to scrap it he is. Ill call him when I get off work tonight

Parakeet

He's motivated to scrap it because he's on vacation til Thursday.

mac 'he did delay today to talk to you' gyvr

Actually I want a buggy...

but finding a TJ that's ready for a new suspension and tcase maybe more practical.

mac 'no one wants a beat to hell XJ chassis' gyvr

TRUE!

He don't want to trade for a beat up Honda civic does he? :D

He said he'll trade for something of roughly similar value that's easier to sell...

So I guess that depends on how beat up it is!

Edit: though he's probably already had every a-hole on craigslist trying to trade him stuff for it...

Ehh the pile o shit i got isnt worth anything

wonder if cheezzman is still looking, it could prolly be put to use around his farm and wheeling!

We also have the option of doing that with our AC. It shuts off the compressor but keeps the blower running. Since the coil stays cool for a bit after the compressor shuts off, you really should not notice the shutdown. I am actually looking at a thermostat that does that for me, on my end, I would rather not give the utility the ability.

There are only 2 solutions however to the problem of brown outs, build more plants, or convince people to use less power during time of demand that cannot be met be generation.

In this area, natural gas powered turbines can provide additional local capacity to offset demand, but they still take some time to bring online. Remember that power is not stored, it has to be generated when it is used, generate too much and it goes to waste and cost money, too little and you get brownouts. The load needs to be "forecast" in advance so the power suppliers can plan to generate X amount and Y time.

Glad you could finally make in here Chuck!

If that Honda was nicer I'd put my wife in it to ditch the car payment...she wouldn't been happy she wants an older suv...or a mustang.

An LJ would be sweet...too bad they are worth gold around here.

mac 'happy with truck and trailer makes me unhappy in other areas :) 'gyvr

I did too until I tried finding one at a decent price. Turns out they all have gold frames.....

You have an XJ waiting on you.

I need money lol. Davey's jeeps is a couple hours north of me. Salvage title jeeps cheap
