Important

I want to be home in bed, cough has gone from just a cough, to fever, cold chills and cough. The one person who can do my job is out of town. I rarely use sick days I have and I want to use one.

Winterfest usually sends at least one person home with ghonnaherpasyphillicidis..and looks like you were the lucky candidate this year.

I got a bug from a stripper once.....actually it was a lot of little bugs.....

You were a little crabby about it, weren't you? :D

1993 Ford Mustang GT 302 v8 84k miles auto, wants to trade me plus some cash for the baby jeep...

mac 'gonna do it if the car is decent and he wants my jeep after he drives it' gyvr

Right on! I've been eyeballing LSx cars (again) but it looks like I've have to ditch the truck, trailer, Jeep, the whole damn offroading hobby just to get into a decent one again. Foxbodies are a lot cheaper alternative to something that goes somewhat fast and sounds damn good. An H-pipe and duals on those 5.0 motors make them sound real good!

Did Brenspeed do any work on the car? I was at their facility once years ago with a bunch of guys from Purdue for a dyno run. Seemed like they were pretty well respected for their Mustang work.

This is how a Mustang should me modified.

I like drag racing and all but I am TIRED of seeing dragged out Fox Bodies. This was setup as a road race car. 3 peice wheels, full cage, fuel cell, and all kinds of bells and whistles.

This also had some suspension goodies!

Conesquishers at the airport? There were some wicked stangs in the FW SCCA chapter back in the day.

Really miss a RWD, not-high-centered-brick-shape car in the summer...

Yessir, its actually an abandoned strip that cummins and the city share for CDL and truck testing. They let us use it once a month.

Car seat will fit... Maybe not the reversed ones you need when there newborns but as the get older there seats will fit better.

Now that I think about it my two boys are about the perfect size to fit in a fox body........

So, the trip was mild. Made it home no problem. Got to sleep in my own bed again. Got up early for the trip to the doctor's in Madison for Harrison. Disappointingly got no real news there. We were referred to the specialist because our local eye doc was stumped and the specialist is scratching his head too. We will find out more (I hope) soon.

As far as WF went...had more fun than I've had in...hmmm, about a year. I think tonight will be the judge of whether or not I am finally back on a normal sleep schedule.

Kraig, I will teach ya if you want to make the trip down. I even have a 110 flux core welder I am wanting to sell if your looking for a cheap welder to learn with. Call me some evening if you are interested at all....we can iron out some details.

ill give you a buzz tyler...ready to get my 8.8 on soon anyway. right now i want something to practice with so i can decide if i want to make a big investment for a nice one. i feel like i should also learn to stick weld too, but i seems like i can have all the stick welders i want for under 200 bucks around here...

and the nice looking vehicles without damage come from guys who have been wheeling a LONG time and have improved the skill set required. That said, even the best drivers out there get damage now and then....heck I get a new dent every trip.

Mines covered in scratches and I could care less.

The jeep was basically free. People gave me scrap metal to clean up out of thier yards. I sold it for cash. Bought a 500 jeep that needed a torque convertor. 200 convertor later its good to go. The way I look at it. Its free, runs good, and I like it. I can afford to put money into it cause I have very little in it.
