I have been to the Lamberts south of Springfield, MO a few times...I eat till I am sick everytime...the chicken fried steak is A-OK with me.

The best chicken fried steak I've ever had was at a truck stop on I-80 somewhere in the eastern half of Nebraska, coming back from the 2003 Fall Fling around 10:00 PM. I'd know it if I pulled in again, but I'd probably have to stop at every blasted exit.

we found a really good burger place in Gypsum, CO. It was attached to a quick e mart/gas station liquor store. Looked suspect, but it was good.

Yup that's the place and the bonus is if they hit you in the head with a roll you get a free dessert. That's how I know the cinnamon rolls are awesome.
