I need tire help

I might have to stall on my tire purchase I think I am going to re-gear and install a front locker, I will just deal with the thornbirds for now

I'm running 35x12.5 TruXus MT's and I have to tell you they are 1000X quieter than my old 33x10.5 TSL radials!!! Amazingly quiet, I was shocked going down the road considering the tread pattern. I could hear my radio and the wind noise while driving my jeep, I have never heard that before I thought a door or window wasn't shut all the way. I even pulled over to check them all to make sure they were closed!!!!!!

i have seen the turdBirds in action & I noticed that they have very flat and large lugs, especially down the center. On a trail that was sparingly covered in snow, they could not get up a slight incline, and pair of all seasons could walk it no probs.

Are you talking about the trail ride at Rausch last Jan when that guy's wiring caught fire before "crawlers ridge"?

Has anyone heard of Mastercraft Courser mud terains, the local tire shop said I can get a set at $210.00 each installed

hey thornBerry, I had mastercraft courser mt's on my jeep this weekend. so yea I love them. im in the process of uploading some pics. ill let you know when I post the link to them.

I was the blue xj with John and John and you on sat. I run BFG mt's and you seen how they do. Going to look into a set of a/t's for dd, and the m/t's for trail riding. I would look for any type of a/t for dd and keep the thordbirds for the trail.

Yeah, after this weekend the thornturds will stay on there are a few other things that bumped to the front of the line,on the way home the front trans seal started leaking bad so out comes the trans again.

That sucks.

Borrow your bud's groover and run those ThornChickens till they give up the ghost.

Was good meeting you and the family.

overland is right grove them and run with it. they won't be great they have a super stiff sidewall and even when aired down and after you grove them they will wear quickly but for a 100 bucks who cares
