I need shift linkage for a 231

It is funny, I just removed my linkage and put it in a plastic bag a week ago

Do you need it fast, or it could wait ?

In a couple of days I will be sure I won't need it anymore.

Go buy four 7/16 female rod ends and a length of 7/16 all thread rod and four 7/16 flat washers and make your own linkage. Push out the little plastic bushings in the shift tabs, cut the all thread to length, and bolt it together putting the washers behind the rod ends on the shift tabs. Simple, extremely positive, and no more plastic bushing to wear out.

Better, and you don't have to wait to get some stock linkage.......if you feel like messng with it.

Thanks goatman, I’ll do it. I'm sure the shifting will feel better as well. I just noticed you were in Santa Clara, the cost of gas wouldn't justify the drive. Thanks for the offer slonopotam, i really appreciate the graciousness of peeps like you and goat on this fine forum.
