Not sure what to do at this point as I don't have the time and can't justify spending the money to chase down current issues.
The Bad:
- Recently failed smog (passed 2 years ago)
- Still overheating (just put in a new radiator)
- Some trail rash body bangs, not really a beater though
- Oil sluge build up on front and passenger side (I think it's the Oil filter adapter)
-
The good:
- Runs good and strong (other than above)
- Front and rear ected lockers
- BFG 33/10.5 AT's (about 20% remaining)
- Rear D44
- Front D30 non disco, alloy shafts
- 4.5" RE coils with spacers
- 4.5" RC full leaf packs
- Old Man Emu shocks
- JCR 1 ton steering
- full SYE and Tom woods drive shaft
- JCR front and rear rock bumpers
- JCR sliders
- Sway bar disconnects
It's a great XJ, drives around town nice, just ran up to Taho and back in August. Will follow all but the biggest of dogs on the trails. (it's like a billy goat and just kind of crawls over what ever you point it at)
I'd love to keep it but priority for me right now is to have the easiest, most reliable car for my kid.
So, I guess this is kinda of an interest and value feeler to help me decide what direction to go with the XJ.
